Legacy, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.

As a content creator, I notice that it’s the big brands that get highlighted the most, but as a foodie, I have the unique opportunity to shed light on the smaller businesses here in Austin. Through a series I produced called “Food Truck Fridays” I came across a Venezuelan food truck called “Cachitos 512”. I was in a rush that day and knew I wanted knew I wanted something quick and easy. Thankfully Arbor Food Truck Park isn’t far and offers a great variety. I was so excited to see that Cachitos was open because I had been eyeing their truck. I was even more excited to see that they offered gluten free options.

Since visiting their truck and sharing my review I have helped them be discovered by thousands of new potential customers. Because of the content I create, many small businesses awareness have grown and their trucks have continued to thrive.

Legacy, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I’m Legacy Lee, a content creator based in Austin with a current focus on sharing local food. I find joy in sharing small businesses, hidden gems, and new food spots that I feel like more people should know about. I produce fun series like “Food Truck Fridays” that make it easier for my supporters to find exactly what they’re looking for. Sharing a variety a food and giving honest reviews are what I enjoy doing!

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

Freedom is what is driving my current creative journey. I want to feel free in my everyday living and creating gives me a sense of that. Creating is a world that I get lost in and that is a great feeling.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

The most rewarding aspect is seeing an idea I had be completed, shared, and appreciated by others. When you see an idea through to completion and you know that it is yours, you feel the greatest sense of accomplishment. And to see others appreciate my work like I do, makes me so proud of the content I produce.
