We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Stephanie Torres a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Stephanie, appreciate you joining us today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?

Success, to me, is about having a mix of passion, resilience, and adaptability. Passion keeps you motivated and focused on what you love, while resilience helps you push through challenges without giving up. Being adaptable means you’re open to new ideas, can handle change, and adjust your plans when things don’t go as expected. I also believe success is about staying curious, learning constantly, and building strong connections with people who inspire and support you.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I’m Stephanie, and I grew up on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, where my passion for fashion and modeling started at a young age. It was there that I first learned to appreciate creativity and the power of storytelling through visuals.

Two years ago, I made a big move to Miami, which opened up a lot of new doors for me, especially in content creation. Now, I work as a content manager for a company that owns multiple brands. In this role, I get to blend my skills in social media, marketing, and creativity every day. I focus on developing engaging content that helps each brand connect with its audience in an authentic way.

On top of that, I’m also building my own social media presence as a content creator. I’ve collaborated with brands like Olaplex and JLO Beauty, and I love creating content that feels genuine and relatable. I aim to help brands tell their stories in a way that really resonates with people.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about traveling, exploring new cultures, and spending quality time with my family and friends. My journey has been a mix of fashion, modeling, content creation, and travel, and each step has shaped who I am today. I’m excited to keep embracing new opportunities and challenges as I continue this journey.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?

One story that really highlights my resilience happened when I first moved to Miami. I was excited to start fresh and grow my career as a marketer and content creator, but the transition was tougher than I expected. I had to adapt to a new city, build a new network, and find opportunities in a competitive market.

In the beginning, I faced quite a few rejections while trying to land clients and collaborations. It was disheartening, but I knew I had to keep pushing through. I focused on improving my skills, taking online courses, and working on personal projects to build my portfolio. I also made an effort to connect with other professionals in the industry, attending networking events and reaching out on social media.

Today, I look back on that time and realize it shaped me into a more resilient person and a stronger professional. It reminded me that setbacks are part of the journey, and it’s crucial to stay focused on your goals and keep moving forward, even when things get tough.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

My creative journey is driven by a passion for doing what I genuinely love and continually pushing myself to grow and improve. I aim to inspire other women to pursue their dreams and believe in their own potential. By sharing my experiences and staying authentic, I hope to show that with hard work, confidence, and perseverance, it’s possible to break through barriers and achieve anything you set your mind to.
