We recently connected with Andrea Salomon and have shared our conversation below.
Andrea, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What do you think it takes to be successful?
In my point of view, what actually means to be successful is to see a vision and keep working towards it. That means, taking any opportunity that comes your way and to keep working on your current project, thinking what’s a better way to better yourself? Success doesn’t come easily, there will always be challenges but if you’re ready and focused, nothing can beat your vision of becoming the best version of yourself.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Being in the beauty industry helping others feel more empowered with the power of makeup and hair, is such a big accomplishment for me. My name is Andrea Salomon Rodriguez and I’m a Professional Makeup Artist/ Entrepreneur/ Boss. I’ve started my career at the age of 15 with my mothers help, as she has been in the beauty industry for 20+ years. Over the years, my popularity started growing and I started building connections with clients. Being able to be good at my professional helped me lead to the right path. I’ve met incredible people in the fashion and business industry. Learning from all of my opportunities, I’ve learned a lot of ways to help grow my business as a makeup artist and more. I’ve led beauty teams with 40+ people for big fashion shows meeting successful people in the same industry. My goal from now is to start connections with big people in this industry and be able to work with them.

How did you build your audience on social media?
When I started my business, I had no idea how to start, what to post or what to even do. With time, I started following great influencers in the beauty industry and started seeing how they each expressed themselves differently in there own style. I stared building my own style after working on various projects and practiced my craft. It’s been 8 years now and I haven’t been any happier with the work I’ve done. With the help of my mother, Brenda, who’s been in the beauty industry for about 25 years.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
In a great way, I am blessed to say my partner and co founder is my very own mother, Brenda Rodriguez. We both started working on our craft together, helping each other out with ideas and getting clients. She’s imy biggest inspiration and is my reason to work harder and do better everyday I can.
