We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Cristiani Orono. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Cristiani below.
Cristiani, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you tell us the backstory behind how you came up with the idea?
I started to create short food videos about how to camouflage vegetables in the meals I prepared for my kids, and them I just listen to a trending song that goes perfectly to the video and that’s it. So many people that are having difficulties trying to feed their kids with healthy food like vegetables started to follow me and try to cook my recipes and most of them had success because their kids ate all the food! They found out what’s they were looking for, it’s what they said. I feel really happy for helping those people to found out a way to feed their “picky eaters” just like mine.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I’m a mom of two kids and I’ve had issues with my older son, he doesn’t want any vegetables, then I started making meal with some veggies but I found out a way to camouflage then so I’ve been publishing recipes on my social media channels. I’ve been creating content for over a year and I wasn’t looking for going viral but happened and I started to take this like a job, I mean if you want success you have to sacrifice something, like money or time, well I don’t have money but I have time, so I’ve been working so hard, creating new recipes, working on my YouTube channel, TikTok, instagram and also writing my own book about recipes, I feel I have a commitment with those people and they are my inspiration, so many of them are really interested to learn how to camouflage the vegetables in their food!
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Of course! Those parents that have been in the same situation like mine, it’s so hard trying to have a gentle parenting and the same time to feel so frustrating to see how your kids doesn’t eat their meals.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
When I read comments from parents who have children with some condition like TEA and they said: thank you, since I found you, I’ve been using your recipes and they are very helpful! that’s mean a lot to me, If they’re happy because they could feed their kids then I’m truly happy.
