Arieliz, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s start big picture – what are some of biggest trends you are seeing in your industry?
The overconsumption of trends and needing to follow them consistently. Trends only last for so long, especially in the fashion industry. However, as we’ve seen before there are always revivals of trends. I think it’s important to not feel like you always need to follow trends and what’s popular. Wear what makes you happy and what makes you feel good. Fashion is supposed to be fun, not stressful in trying to keep up.
Arieliz, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m a NJ/NY based micro influencer and I create content around fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. I have so much fun making and editing videos and learning about how I can leave a lasting impact on my community. I love connecting with others and learning about them through my social platforms. I’m a full time stylist and event hospitality specialist for a size inclusive fashion brand. I have always loved fashion and I remember drawing designs in my Project Runway sketchbook. I hope to continue to grow my community and be involved more in the industry
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
I love creating content and it’s a lot of fun seeing how my audience reacts to it. I also like that I’m building my brand and show what I’m capable of. The smallest of steps show how far I’ve come and I won’t give up on my goals
How did you build your audience on social media?
Being consistent and engaging with your audience is super important in growing your social media presence. I make sure to post at least 2 times a day if I can and always reply to comments, etc.
