We recently connected with Dr. Angie Bee, Mmin, Dmin. and have shared our conversation below.
Dr. Angie, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. One of our favorite things to brainstorm about with friends who’ve built something entrepreneurial is what they would do differently if they were to start over today. Surely, there are things you’ve learned that would allow you to do it over faster, more efficiently. We’d love to hear how you would go about setting things up if you were starting over today, knowing everything that you already know.
In 2023, I retired from, and closed my agency. Angie BEE Productions specialized in producing audiobooks and offering media opportunities for our clients. We created commercials, flyers, podcasts and radio shows. We also trained youth and young adults on voiceover skills and worked with them to narrate audiobooks for clients. When I shut down my website, I thought I would never look back. I didn’t even save the website content.
As time rolled on, I divorced, entered mental health counseling and moved to a new home city. Clients would message or email me saying “I know you are retired, but…” and would ask me to take on just one more project. While narrating or designing a flyer, or while writing their script, I would find myself missing myself; missing the use of my gifts and talents, and missing my agency.
On October 30, 2024, I plan to re-open Angie BEE Productions with new concepts, new projects, and new opportunities for my clients to receive excellent services. The 2025 book tour will launch and the in-person relationship workshops that introduced lives to Christianity will resume. Having obtained my Masters Degree in Marriage and Families in July, I feel compelled to share what I have learned. As a dual degreed scholarship recipient, I also earned my Doctor in Ministry Degree with a concentration in Organizational Leadership. These skills will benefit my returning and new clients, as well. God is good! He allowed me to sit down for 18 months to enrich my knowledge and grant peace to my mind and my heart. Just wait until we re-open!

Our goal at Angie BEE Productions is to narrate and produce audiobooks and promote our clients through virtual and live event opportunities. In July 2024, I graduated as an honor-roll student from Deeper Bible College. I received a scholarship and was NOT going to waste this opportunity. I received both my Masters in Ministry AND Doctor in Ministry in 6 of the 9 months provided AS AN HONOR ROLL STUDENT!! Look at God!

Now, let me tell you our history…
March 2023 – Debuted our syndicated radio show “Mornings With Da Queen Bee” to hear commercials and the the BEST in Holy Hip Hop, Christian and Gospel Rap music. Within the first week of launching this global radio ministry, I was recognized by MixCloud as 7th in the Global Christian Hip Hop category!
Founded in 2019 – Da BEE Hive Ministry –
Recruited as interns by “Da Queen BEE”, Angie BEE., we are inspired by the BEE Hive. We work as a collective body to care for one another, to strengthen the hive (the Kingdom) and to pollinate the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We work collectively doing God’s will. We plan and promote music tours, conferences and events and we are open to including all individuals into Da Hive as Jesus welcomes us into his home.
2014 – Ordained as an Evangelist
Founded in 2011 – The TOUR that Angie BEE Presents – A Christian music concert and fellowship event that is designed to be an evangelistic tool for youth and young adults. Featuring the eclectic sounds of featured recording artists, this tour allows the host church to receive a financial blessing while networking with youth organizations to come and fellowship with one another! The TOUR that Angie BEE Presents is a FREE concert event for your group to host, and has been requested by churches from around the world!
2019-2021 – served as Religious Emblems Coordinator for the Central Florida Timuqua District. My volunteer assignment was to help coordinate local community leaders and bring opportunities where Scouts can learn about God, implement what they learn and earn their religious badges. According to the introductory email distributed by District Director, MacGriffith “I was tasked with reaching out to (Unit Leaders) regarding the Scouting Religious Emblems programs and offered my assistance in getting the Scouts connected if interested. I tried to assist in reaching out to religious institutions that serve as Charter Organization to bring them on board as part of the team”. www.cflscouting.org.
September 2017 – Debuted the annual Bold Beautiful & Bald Beauty Bazaar for Alopecia Awareness. What originated as a one-day fashion show evolved to a 3-day weekend retreat and beauty bazaar. After spending seven years in Daytona Beach, we successfully moved to St. Marys, GA in September 2024. Proceeds from this annual fundraiser are donated to www.NAAF.org

Born in Detroit, Michigan in 1965, I graduated with honors from St. Mary’s of Redford High School. During my formative years I served as a member and VP of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women Youth club. I was a member of the Girls Club of Detroit and, at the age of 13, was offered my first job with the organization. I also served as a junior board member at the local YMCA. My extra-curricular activities helped me to earn a full college scholarship to attend Wilberforce University, while maintaining a 3.6 grade point average. My parents raised me as a member of Beth Eden Missionary Baptist Church, were I was baptized and served as a junior usher. As a teen, my mother moved my membership to Hartford Memorial Baptist Church where I served in the young adult choir and the Youth Council. Dr. Charles Adams inspired me to learn more about scripture and servitude, and I dedicated myself to sharing more as my faith and understanding grew!
I attended Wilberforce University in Xenia (Dayton), Ohio from 1983-1985 and completed two internships before relocating to Orlando. I continued to study Mass Communications and radio announcing through community colleges and won competitive presentation awards through Phi Beta Lambda. I participated in community service projects with Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity as a “Yellow Rose/Sweetheart” Xi and Xi Iota Chapters, and I launched a wonderful career at Walt Disney World EPCOT Center and TicketMaster Florida. I married, had two beautiful daughters and studied to become an entrepreneur.

As my business was evolving and my daughters were growing, the devil attacked my mind. I was hospitalized following the 1st of 3 suicide attempts. Major depression and anxiety clouded my mind. My career ended in 2005, my family became homeless, my health declined and the attack progressed into 2006, 2007 and 2008. I sought peace from God and left my abusive husband in 2008. Without the strength of my daughters and the people that God placed in my life…I don’t think I would have seen my eldest daughter complete high school. During this time, I was offered an air-shift on an internet radio station. My daughters helped me launch The Hottest Home Hotspot as a radio show featuring Holy Hip Hop, Christian and Gospel Rap music, weekdays from 4 to 8 pm EST. The show aired for nearly a decade, syndicating on a variety of international radio stations.
I thank the music producers and artists for submitting their music and drops for airplay on the show. Each time a new song would land in my email, I would feel a renewed sense of purpose to spread the Gospel through this music format.
In 2008 I dedicated my skills and blessings to my new church home, dedicating my videography and editing skills to filming and airing weekly services and concerts on YouTube.
In 2010, God told me to move…and I did. My membership request with The Glorious Church of Christ was accepted – and on June 11th I delivered my first trial sermon. My beloved Pastor Trevor Belmosa graded my delivery as an “A-” and my heart has been filled with a passion to serve God, ever since.
Summer of 2011, I was ordained as a Deaconess and now, my path is much clearer, my mind is much stronger and I am more dedicated than ever to “spread the gospel to the hip hop generation with Christian Rap music, preaching, speaking and bringing workshops to areas that may not otherwise hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The TOUR that Angie BEE Presents is an evangelism troupe bringing testimonial and relationship workshops, book signings & the gospel of Jesus Christ to communities everywhere! Founded in 2011 we focus on introducing Christian Rap concerts, workshops for mothers, fathers, singles and married couples. This effort inspired my creative journey because it needed to be documented. I utilized my videography and editing experiences to record and stream each concert, workshop highlight and sponsor commercials to our YouTube page (www.YouTube.com/AngieBEEpresents). Eventually I began creating the promotional flyers and commercials for social media. I even created interview opportunities for the tour members to share their testimonies on podcasts! This mission of bringing the TOUR testimonies to the world has definitely driven my creative journey!
