We were lucky to catch up with Brendnetta Ashley recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Brendnetta thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Has Covid resulted in any major changes to your business model?
Prior to Covid I was all about getting in as many clients as possible into the salon in a day. So I would double book. After Covid I understood the importance of giving each client the proper amount of time and giving them a true salon experience. By doing this I’ve built stronger client relationships and my business is growing stronger

How did you build your audience on social media?
The best advice I can give on how to build your business in social media is to be consistent in your strategy. I consistently post on my social media and each post has some form of educational content to it. This has a loud my audience to come back to learn more about what I’m doing, therefore has grown my page the biggest take away from this is to actually be consistent so I post once a day that’s my consistency. Your consistency may be a little bit different, but the key is to be consistent in your posting

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
Social media has grown my clientele. People can view and engage in your page at anytime. Now can they see my work but they can also book a service even durning non-business hours
