Thank you for the opportunity to share the story behind House De Lashes LLC. Our mission is to empower women to succeed as licensed eyelash artists and entrepreneurs, regardless of background. After 20 years in the beauty industry, I founded House De Lashes to address the lack of local lash supply stores and develop high-quality products for sensitive eyes, ensuring 7-8 week retention with minimal irritation. Our cashmere lashes and fiber tip tweezers are industry- leading, offering comfort, precision, and long-lasting results. In 2023, we launched our online store and opened a brick-and-mortar location, providing local lash artist with easy access to top- tier supplies. As a licensed cosmetologist, lash artist, and state board- approve instructor, I’m committed to supporting the next generation of beauty professionals.

House De Lashes LLC was born out of my desire to create more than just a company—our mission is about building a community where women can feel empowered to pursue their dreams. By offering not only high-quality lash products but also comprehensive training programs, ongoing mentorship, and business support, we provide the tools and resources for women to thrive as entrepreneurs. Our mission is meaningful to me by reason of firsthand how transformational it can be when women are given the opportunity to create financial independence and professional fulfillment in an industry they love.

My name is Bianca Alvarez and I am the Founder & Owner of House De Lashes LLC. With over 20 years of experience as a Licensed Cosmetologist and Licensed Lash Artist, Licensed Az State Board Approved Pro Lash Instructor, and Beauty Educator and Lash Tech Supplier. I’ve dedicated my career to helping others achieve success in the beauty industry. My journey started with a passion for beauty and a desire to create a space where women could feel empowered to pursue their dreams as entrepreneurs and beauty professionals.

House De Lashes LLC is more than just a brand—it’s a community built on the principles of empowerment, quality, and innovation. We provide high-quality eyelash extension products and accessories through our private collections line, designed specifically to be gentle on sensitive eyes while offering excellent retention for long-lasting results. Our products include lightweight, cashmere lashes that allow lash artists to create a variety of styles such as classic, volume, hybrid, wispy, wet sets, and mega volume. Just to name a few.

Beyond products, we are also a full-service training and education hub. Our board-approved 30-hour eyelash extension program includes 10 hours of theory and 20 hours of hands-on practice, designed to help aspiring lash artists gain the skills they need to obtain their license and launch their careers. Additionally, we offer private master classes in English and Espanol on business management, marketing, and advanced lash techniques, along with ongoing mentorship to ensure that our students succeed even after they complete their training.

What sets House De Lashes LLC apart from others in the industry is our commitment to not only providing exceptional products but also to nurturing the growth of small business owners in the beauty space. We guide our students through every step of their journey, from obtaining their state license to building their client base, to establishing and growing their own businesses. We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.

Yes, my side hustle absolutely turned into my full-time business and career. While I have 20 years of experience in the beauty industry, working as a makeup artist, hairdresser and having upper management positions, there came a point in my life when I needed to take a step back to focus on my family. I was at the height of my career, but I chose to leave the beauty industry completely for five years to prioritize being home with my children. This led me to work for a school district, where I became a school bus driver and eventually a director of transportation for a K-8 school. Although it was a career path far different from what I had been doing, it aligned with my kids’ schedules and gave me the flexibility I needed.

During this time, I found myself missing the beauty industry but realized that I needed to create a career that worked for me and my family. That’s when I began to focus on building House De Lashes LLC and developing my private collection of lash products and lash technician supplies. It was a sacrifice to leave my retail career, but it allowed me to build something of my own that provided not only professional fulfillment but also the flexibility to spend more quality time with my children.

Scaling House De Lashes LLC from a side hustle to a full-time business involved many key milestones. One of the first major steps was becoming a Licensed Lash Artist and developing my private lash collection, which caters to sensitive eyes and provides exceptional retention for long-lasting lashes. From there, I expanded into offering lash services, training and education, including our board-approved eyelash extension program and master classes. Over time, the business grew into a full-service resource for aspiring lash artists, providing not just products but also the mentorship and support needed to thrive as an entrepreneur.

The journey has been challenging, but it has also been incredibly rewarding. House De Lashes LLC allows me to combine my passion for beauty with the flexibility I needed for my family, and I’m proud to have created a business that empowers other women to do the same.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?

A key lesson I had to unlearn was that success in the beauty industry was primarily about the technical skills taught in training programs. After being in the industry for so long, teaching various topics from hair and makeup to management and development, I always believed that a good technical foundation would naturally lead to success. However, when I launched House De Lashes LLC and started selling lash tech supplies, I quickly learned through conversations with my customers that many of them were not receiving proper training. They had invested their hard-earned money into courses that didn’t provide them with the necessary tools, resources, or even basic knowledge about becoming a lash technician. Many left these programs feeling unprepared and defeated, despite paying high prices.

This was eye-opening for me because I realized that the missing element wasn’t just technical skill—it was the lack of support, mentorship, and practical tools needed to help these women feel confident and ready to succeed. Recognizing this gap, I decided to take matters into my own hands. Not only did I customize my own lash kit to ensure it had everything a lash artist needs to start their career professionally and confidently, but I also focused on offering continuous follow-up, encouragement, and business support. I go above and beyond by helping students build their client base, even promoting their work on social media.

This experience taught me that success is not just about mastering a craft but also about providing ongoing support and giving aspiring lash artists the tools they need to thrive. It was a powerful shift in perspective that reshaped my approach to beauty education and my commitment to empowering women in the industry. This is the reason why I love what I do and why I decided to become a Arizona State board approved eyelash training program where future upcoming Lash Artist can obtain their License and have a successful career because I can speak for experience on having a successful career and business.
