We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Nichole Kuechle a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Nichole, appreciate you joining us today. Was there a moment in your career that meaningfully altered your trajectory? If so, we’d love to hear the backstory.
For decades if someone asked me to describe what I do for a living, I would answer with something like, “I reverse chronic and degenerative disease using lifestyle management and teach other practitioners how to do the same.” This being said, this is no small feat and requires a multi-faceted approach. One element of that approach is in understanding of the mental emotional support need of my clients.
Using the Method of Intentional Inquiry, what I’m able to facilitate with my clients is a new found sense of freedom, peace of mind, and expanded capacity for managing their life. It’s a way to utilize muscle testing along with intuition as a way to understand the individual needs of my clients and as an opportunity to co-create a program they are excited and inspired to follow. Earlier this summer I was at a social event where we were each asked to introduce ourselves and what we do for a living, and upon my turn, what fell out of my mouth was completely surreal as I didn’t hear anything about reversing chronic and degenerative disease; and instead heard myself say, “I facilitate my clients journey to finding themselves.”

Nichole, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My story began as a young teen when my mom was diagnosed with cancer. Scared for her life and horrified at what I saw her undergo, I made some big decisions about how I’d live my life and what I was committed to from a health standpoint. I was just 16. This experience changed everything for me and shaped the invention of my career and my drive to provide other practitioners with opportunities to learn muscle testing, to become better practitioners through mentorship, and to provide a consistent experience in connecting our clients to their next best self.
To still be going strong as an entrepreneur over two decades in to the holistic health community is something I’m so proud of. This industry keeps me on my toes, my clients inspire me to be a better version of myself, and because walking the talk is important to me, I wholeheartedly accept the responsibility of authentic self care as a part of my daily rhythm.
Putting training and knowledge aside, what else do you think really matters in terms of succeeding in your field?
One of the biggest mistakes any entrepreneur can make is to think they know it all. As a business owner, we wear many hats and though many of those hats are now properly delegated to those who can really move the needle in those areas, the one thing I pay close attention to is my willingness to Unlearn. It’s something I teach my practitioners and it’s a conversation I share with my clients, because when we come into something with the suggestion of already knowing what’s needed, there is no space for growth. When we can set aside what we already know, and have the willingness to unlearn, that’s where the magic happens.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
Having grown my practice from the early days starting out as a Birth Doula, Craniosacral Therapist, Lifestyle Educator, and Bodyworker, what has always worked has been my willingness to really connect with people. I’m a relationship builder and warm connector by nature. I love introducing those who can make a difference in each other’s lives.
