We recently connected with Armen Kronfel and have shared our conversation below.
Armen, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s been one of the most interesting investments you’ve made – and did you win or lose? (Note, these responses are only intended as entertainment and shouldn’t be construed as investment advice)
I think the best investment I’ve made has been investing in myself. Investing in my health, dreams, and goals has brought me a sense of clarity and purpose. When I had just turned 20 I experienced a couple life-altering events that led me to taking a leap of faith into pursuing my dreams. I told myself this was the direction I was headed in and I haven’t looked back since. 5 years later I’m grateful my younger self took the initiative to pursue something I simply love. I’m now 25 and am eager to see my life continue to evolve and unfold. The biggest lesson I’ve learned so far is to trust and let go. Being a human, I inevitably want to control everything. I’ve learned that there’s serenity in letting go and just being patient.

Armen, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My artist name is Fé Armen. The name actually came from a combination of my mother and father’s name. The idea came to me late 2018 then shortly after I started to pursue my music career in 2019. I knew since I was a kid that I loved music and was passionate about it. I also played soccer and many other sports growing up so once I hit my 20s I had to decide which of my passions I was going to pursue and well now I’m here. It’s definitely a journey of self discovery and constant expression of my soul so maintaining a healthy relationship with myself became my priority. I of course have faced many challenges. Being born and raised in the states has provided endless opportunities but on the flip side requires a stable good income to live comfortably. Being an artist doesn’t always provide that so having to work full time while pursuing my passion has been a constant challenge. Although it isn’t easy it has shown me what I’m capable of doing and it allows me to trust in my work ethic and ability to get things done in every aspect of my life. While doing all of this I’ve learned to enjoy the journey and to stay present for every season of my life so far.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
I believe the most rewarding aspect of being a creative is seeing how people receive my art, especially close family members and friends. When I create my music I go to a place in my mind and soul so to see people enjoy that energy from me is honestly indescribable. I simply want to continue making and sharing my music with those who enjoy it.

Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can provide some insight – you never know who might benefit from the enlightenment.
I think a struggle creatives face is the feeling of being exposed and judged. Once our art is out there we essentially put ourselves on display which brings judgement and opinions from others that sometimes aren’t as kind as one could hope for. I truly don’t think there is a right or wrong when it comes to self expression in creating so to receive occasional negative feedback can affect your self perception so creatives have to have solid security within themselves and be their biggest supporter.
