We recently connected with Natasha Tous and have shared our conversation below.
Natasha, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
It wasn’t a lightbulb moment—it was more like a series of sparks that ignited over the years. After two decades of navigating the corporate world, leading powerhouse brands like Barbie and Sesame Street, I couldn’t ignore the glaring gaps in leadership anymore—especially for women and Latinos. I’d see incredible talent being overlooked, not because they lacked skill or ambition, but because they didn’t have access to the right leadership development or mentorship.
The tipping point came while mentoring a group of young Latino professionals. Watching their potential unfold as they received the guidance they needed lit a fire in me. That’s when I knew: this wasn’t just a business idea; it was a mission. I had to create a space where leadership development wasn’t one-size-fits-all, where emotional intelligence, resilience, and inclusivity were the pillars.
But here’s where it gets real: I wasn’t just filling a gap, I was solving a deeply personal problem. Leaders today don’t just need more theory; they need real-world tools to navigate challenges and foster inclusive environments. Éclat wasn’t going to be another cookie-cutter leadership program. It was going to elevate leaders to not only step into executive roles but to redefine them.
The excitement for me wasn’t just in the idea, it was in watching the ripple effect of change. Every time a client breaks through a barrier, I see the impact radiate through their teams and organizations. That’s when I knew Éclat wasn’t just about growth; it was about creating lasting, transformative leadership.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m Natasha Tous, the founder of Éclat, a leadership development firm dedicated to empowering women and Latinos to step into executive roles. My journey started in corporate, where I led teams across global brands like Barbie and Fisher-Price. But after 20+ years of seeing talented people—especially minorities—hit invisible barriers, I knew it was time for a change. I left the corporate world to create Éclat, a firm where leadership development is about more than just theory. It’s about personal and professional transformation.
At Éclat, we offer leadership programs tailored to the unique challenges our clients face, with a focus on emotional intelligence, resilience, and leadership branding. We help leaders build the skills they need to not just survive but thrive in today’s complex business environment. What sets us apart is our holistic approach. We don’t just focus on the technical aspects of leadership, we dig deep into personal growth because I believe that who you are directly influences how you lead.
What am I most proud of? It’s the ripple effect we’re creating. Half of our clients have advanced to executive or C-suite roles, and it’s not just their individual success that matters, it’s how they’ve transformed their teams and organizations. That’s what Éclat is all about: changing the game by empowering leaders to show up authentically and create cultures of inclusivity and resilience.
If there’s one thing I want potential clients and followers to know, it’s that Éclat is here to redefine leadership. We’re not about quick fixes or empty promises. We’re about real results—leadership that not only elevates individuals but also uplifts entire organizations.

How did you build your audience on social media?
Building a social media audience is not just about gaining followers—it’s about creating a community where genuine connection and value are at the forefront. From the beginning, I knew that if I wanted to make an impact, I had to show up where my audience was most active, and for me, that platform was LinkedIn. It’s where decision-makers, HR professionals, and leaders in mid-sized organizations are already having conversations about leadership, inclusivity, and personal growth.
But here’s the key: I didn’t just post content to get likes—I focused on providing value. Every post, every article, every interaction was designed to help my audience solve real problems. I shared practical leadership strategies, tips on emotional intelligence, and insights on navigating change. My goal was to make sure that anyone who engaged with my content walked away with something they could use in their leadership journey. That’s how I built trust, and ultimately, a community.
What really helped elevate my presence was aligning with organizations that shared my values. By partnering with groups like ALPFA and the Hispanic Heritage Chamber of Commerce, I was able to amplify my message and reach an audience that was not only interested in leadership development but deeply invested in creating more inclusive, resilient workplaces. These strategic partnerships were key to spreading awareness about Éclat and positioning my brand as a thought leader in the leadership development space.
For anyone starting to build their social media presence, my advice is simple: lead with value. Don’t focus on the numbers—focus on how you can help your audience solve their problems. Be consistent, engage with your community, and most importantly, align with organizations and individuals who share your values. That’s how you create real impact.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
There’s a moment in every entrepreneur’s journey when you’re standing at the crossroads of keep going or give up. For me, that moment came during the early days of building Éclat. After leaving a successful corporate career leading iconic global brands, I found myself navigating the unpredictable waters of entrepreneurship—and let me tell you, the current was rough. The clients weren’t rolling in fast enough, resources felt limited, and it seemed like the harder I pushed, the more challenges piled up.
But here’s the thing about resilience: it’s not about giant leaps; it’s about finding strength in the small wins. Those moments—landing a single new client, securing a speaking engagement, seeing the impact of my work in a leader’s transformation—became my lifeline. They reminded me why I started Éclat in the first place.
The biggest shift, though, came when I stopped fixating on how fast I could grow my business and started focusing on what I was building. I adopted a building mindset, one that prioritized creating a solid, lasting foundation over chasing quick success. Once I made that mental shift, everything changed. Every challenge became an opportunity to strengthen Éclat, and every small victory was proof that I was laying the groundwork for something greater than just a business—I was building a legacy.
