We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Lily Georgia. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Lily below.
Hi Lily , thanks for joining us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
My first ever exposure to the creative life was when I attended a weekend program for acting, singing , and dancing I was just 4 years old. As I grew in age I realized these were my main passions and that I never wanted to stop what I loved so much. I attended acting school in London for 2 years and then went on to do an additional acting vocational school in LA. I am currently splitting my time between acting and social media.

Lily , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
What I am most proud of is moving to LA at the age of 18, with no idea how hard it actually is to even break out in this type of industry, and all I had at this time was a dream and 7 suitcases . I built so many life skills living alone and also adjusting to the time difference as LA is 8 hours behind London . I have now lived here for 8 years so I am extremely grateful and proud of the time I have been able to spend here building my dream life.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I grew up watching YouTube so I have a really good idea of how to present myself and what type of content will best suit me and my channel. I’ve always had a dream of building an audience to inspire others and encourage them to push through the pain and creativity is a great way to always have that resilience to unlock more potential to do other goals. I started my YouTube in 2017 and since then I have taken a break to grow other pages such as TikTok which I’m focused on currently. I have gained a lot of experience editing videos and taught myself how to use sound effects video effects and master thumbnails , it’s always good to have a set of skills and constantly work on them. I have a lot of future goals that I need to hit to be able to create more opportunities for myself and for me to get to know my audience more on a deeper level. for anyone starting out, I would say do not hold back , do not care what anyone says or thinks about you, you have one life so make the most of it and there is no limits on what you can do. You are your own dreamer so shoot for the stars and never look back.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
In my personal experience I was never going to be a mathematician or scientist my brain just doesn’t work in those areas. I always was drawn to creative writing or performing arts. At heart I’ve always been a dreamer . the most rewarding thing is being able to wake up and create my own life that I imagined when I was younger I would have . I love acting and I love just throwing myself into being someone else for a day . The sense of fulfillment I get once I finish filming a video is unlike anything else I’ve felt in a long time . It makes me proud and so I love the feeling I get when I see a project has just been posted as I get excited for others to view my work .
