The best advice that I have ever given, or will ever give to a patient, is the Hope of Healing. I was taught this early on in my medical school training; that doctors should always imbue hope at any point along the path. We should always dare to believe in healing and patients should understand this. I always say to every patient, “Healing is always an option.” It is true, patients do not always heal. It is true that patients may die from disease. But the Hope of Healing always remains. Read more>>
