Ericka & Samantha, appreciate you joining us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Our journey to creating Golden Essence Co. was truly born from a place of personal struggle and healing. Ericka, one of our co-founders, was dealing with infertility caused by endometriosis, a condition that left us frustrated and searching for answers. Along the way, we realized that so many of the products we use daily—especially in skincare—contain harmful chemicals that disrupt hormones and impact reproductive health. It felt like we were sacrificing our bodies for beauty, and that just didn’t sit right with us. So, we knew there had to be a better way.
We wanted to offer a solution that didn’t force women to choose between looking and feeling beautiful and safeguarding their health. There was something powerful about creating products that not only nourish the skin but also support women’s overall well-being. And that’s how the heart of Golden Essence Co. came to life—natural skincare that embraces full-body wellness and doesn’t compromise reproductive health.
The deeper we dove, the more we realized this wasn’t just our problem—it was a void in the skincare industry. So many women are looking for luxury, natural alternatives but struggle to find products that align with their values and health goals. That was the spark for us. We knew that we could bridge that gap, by offering clean, eco-luxury skincare that speaks to the whole woman.
What got us most excited was the idea of giving women the freedom to choose beauty without compromise. We weren’t just building a brand—we were creating a movement around self-care, health, and empowerment. And that’s what continues to drive us every single day.

Ericka & Samantha, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Samantha: At Golden Essence Co., we’re two sisters, Ericka and I, who turned a personal struggle into a mission. When Ericka faced infertility due to endometriosis, we realized the harmful chemicals in everyday skincare products were disrupting women’s health, particularly reproductive wellness. This sparked our journey to create a line of clean, natural skincare that protects both beauty and well-being. Our products are eco-luxury, designed for women who want effective, plant-based skincare without the risk of hormonal disruption.
We offer a range of products, including hydrating body oils, creamy body soufflés, exfoliating body polishes, and soothing soap bars made with natural ingredients. What sets us apart is our deep commitment to reproductive health—our products are crafted with intention, ensuring that women don’t have to compromise their bodies for beauty. We’re especially passionate about serving women who are struggling with reproductive issues or simply seeking cleaner, safer skincare alternatives that support full-body wellness.
Ericka : Golden Essence Co. is about more than just skincare; it’s a movement for self-care, empowerment, and holistic health. We’re incredibly proud of the community we’ve built, connecting with women who share our values of natural beauty, luxury, and wellness. How did you build your audience on social media?
Samantha: Building our audience on social media started with being genuine and sharing our personal journey. We knew from the beginning that we wanted to connect with women who, like us, were searching for natural skincare that aligned with their health values. By sharing Ericka’s story of overcoming infertility and our commitment to creating non-toxic products, we were able to build trust and authenticity with our audience. We leaned into showing the faces behind the brand, engaging with our community through educational posts, and offering real solutions to their skincare and wellness needs. Consistency, collaboration with like-minded influencers, and being responsive to our followers’ questions and feedback also helped us grow organically.
Ericka : For anyone starting out, our advice would be to stay true to your mission and your story. People are drawn to authenticity, so let your passion and purpose shine through. Post consistently, engage with your audience by asking questions and responding to comments, and don’t be afraid to show the behind-the-scenes moments that make your brand unique.

We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.
Ericka: We keep in touch with our clients by staying connected in real, personal ways. One of our favorite ways to engage is through going live on social media—it allows us to chat directly with our audience, answer questions in real-time, and share the stories behind our products. We also make it a priority to respond to every DM we receive because we want our customers to feel heard and valued. Whether someone is asking about skincare tips or sharing their experience with our products, we believe in building that personal connection.
Vending events are another great way for us to meet our community face-to-face, allowing us to showcase our products while creating memorable experiences. Email marketing is a key part of how we keep clients in the loop as well. We send out regular updates, share self-care tips, and offer exclusive deals to our email subscribers. By staying engaged across different platforms, we foster loyalty and create a genuine connection with our Golden Essence Co. family.
