We recently connected with Crystal Petry and have shared our conversation below.
Crystal, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?
One of the biggest risk I have taken, was quitting my traditional job and betting on myself. I have never worked for myself and I knew that “now” was the time to take the risk. If I was going to take this risk, take this chance then I needed to do it now. I am loving taking this risk. I was scared when I first started my business and years later I am still scared. When you take a risk, I don’t think the fear ever leaves you, but you learn to work in your fear and not let that fear stop you

Crystal, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I have built my social media presence by putting out great content and doing it constantly. It has taken a while, but anything worth some effort is definitely worth some time. My advice would be to put up great content, be consistent and understand it will take some for people to find, get to know you and to trust you.

Can you open up about how you funded your business?
When I first started my business I used my personal funds. Now I just reinvest my earned capital. Most business when you launch you have to use your own money, so make sure you can afford to start your own business. You do not want to put your personal life in a bind trying to build your business life.
