Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Brittney Booze. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Brittney, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Innovation comes in all shapes, sizes and across all industries, so we’d love to hear about something you’ve done that you feel was particularly innovative.
Stepping Into The Modeling Industry While Battling A Autoimmune Disease Called Hidradenitis Suppurativa Was Definitely One Of The Most Fearless Things I Have Done. With Having This Skin Condition It Affects The Cosmetic Look of Your Body Due to Me Having (14 Major) Surgeries.
As a professional model society tells us we must have a perfect body and perfect image I wanted to challenge that perspective. Not only for myself but also my fellow hidradenitis support warriors. Pushing the envelope on how beauty is defined.

Brittney, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Im Brittney Booze a professional model. I started modeling after losing my mother seeing her sick made me want to live fearlessly so why not do the one thing I always dreamed of modeling.
Growing up in The Foster Care System & A being a Single Mother To two beautiful boys and most importantly a 14 times Sugery warrior with hidradenitis Suppurativa I had my share of battles but one thing I would never do is give up easily. So modeling became more than just a hobby it became my job and how I could provide for my boys.
I started out doing runway shows and moved on to doing photoshoots. Promoting myself was key. Always offering my services as a professional model at first for free but after gaining a strong resume and portfolio I started booking paid opportunities.
I Went from The DMV to Now Booking in New York as a beauty model to now modeling on Amazon for a big designer.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
Being able to inspire foster care kids all of the world that you can make it out.
I’m a prime example of someone who was a orphan and went through the foster care system, went through homelessness, group homes & made it out on the other side.
If I can do it you can do it there’s no limit to the things you can do when you are determined to win.
I went from being abandoned an orphan to now being a professional model.
Nothing Is impossible.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My two beautiful boys Ja’keem & Ezekiel are my driving point. My reason. Everything that I do I do for us it’s for them.
I’m Showing them nothing is impossible, & nothing is off limits with hard work.
