Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Nina Hans. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Nina, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you tell us about a time where you or your team really helped a customer get an amazing result?
An artist approached us seeking to elevate her brand and website to reflect her growing success. She started with small, affordable products like $5 greeting cards and $100 prints, but as her artistic journey progressed, she gained gallery traction and began creating unique pieces valued at $5,000 or more. To support this evolution, she needed a website that not only showcased the elevated nature of her work but also helped grow her business and increase commissions.
Her existing site was functional and budget-friendly, focused on product sales, but it lacked the sophistication required to represent her new portfolio. We set out to create a gallery-style website that truly made her artwork shine. To enhance the presentation, we used AI to design dream interiors, digitally placing her art into aspirational spaces that reflected the environments her pieces belonged in.
Since launching the new site over a year ago, she has seen her commissions triple—without any additional marketing or ad spend. She frequently shares her gratitude with us, and seeing how this success has positively impacted her and her family is one of the greatest rewards of our work.

Nina, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
After years of working in-house, freelancing, and at agencies, my partner and I dreamt of creating our own studio. Weekday Studio was born during a trip around the world, where we envisioned the type of people we wanted to become, the way we wanted to spend our days, and how we could best serve our clients. Since then, we’ve built brands for major names like Nike, Converse, 20th Century FOX, and even the U.S. government.
But as the world has evolved, so have the needs of our clients. Earlier this year, we launched a sister company called WEEKS, where we’ve distilled our years of experience into a streamlined, efficient process. It’s fun, affordable, and designed to cut through the bloat of traditional agencies. No more drawn-out timelines or inflated costs—just beautiful, impactful work that customers love.
With WEEKS, we’re turning websites around for just $5k in 2 WEEKS. Brands for $12k in just 3 WEEKS. It’s been an absolute blast to make this shift. Working with smaller businesses and seeing the direct, meaningful impact our services have on their growth and lives has honestly been the most fulfilling chapter of my career so far.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
I’m not on social media, and I don’t spend much time online, so I focus on what I know best—building relationships. Earlier this year, we wrote, designed, and launched WEEKS in a single day. We told all of our friends and clients — anyone who sends us a client that we book (yes, that includes you, dear reader!). And honestly, it’s been working—better than we could have imagined. And of course once we make those new clients happy they keep telling others. We’ve now paid one client back half of the cost of her site!

We’d love to hear about how you met your business partner.
We first met at a coffee shop in Maui. I skated up to him with pink dreadlocks and not one, but two spike belts. Honestly, I don’t think he paid much attention to me for the next four years! It definitely wasn’t love at first sight, but nearly 25 years later, he’s my business partner in both our companies, my best friend, husband, and—best of all—my baby daddy.
