We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Rudy Montijo. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Rudy below.
Rudy, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear about a time you helped a customer really get an amazing result through their work with you.
I had a client who had issues as an adult that stemmed from childhood. We were quickly able to identify these and in times paired our sessions with Ketamine therapy. He had been able to set better boundaries c lower anxiety and depression and restore a relationship with his mother.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I came into the industry through my own struggles, addiction and adversity. I started working in myself and created self awareness in 2013 when sought treatment for alcoholism. From this point I invest time and money to grow in all areas of life. After having children I finished my masters and became a clinically trained therapist and wrote my first book.
Today I have a successful career in medical device sales, have a become a best selling author, offer a combination of therapy and coaching to clients. I also have do paid speaking engagements on mental health and motivation.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I think consistency and transparency over the past 11 years. I’ve been publicly vocal about my success but also my relapses. I don’t highlight my wins only but my struggles with mental health.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
After I relapsed and separated from my children’s mother in July of 2021. I had to completely start over.
My sobriety, financially and emotionally. The 3 years to follow would be some of my most productive. I was able to get out of debt and even drove for Uber in my free time to pay down debt, despite earning 6 figures in my career. I finished my masters degree in addiction sciences which included over 350 clinical hours. I did this in person and virtually running group and seeing clients one on one in the evenings and weekends when I did not have my kids. I’ve completely 7 Ironman Triathlons including 6 70.3 and one full. I wrote and published a best selling book on mental health. I successfully confounded a business in which we intentionally used ketamine to treat PTSD, Anxiety, Depression and trauma. I’ve been able consistently excel and win awards in my medical device career throughout all of this.
My largest accomplishment is being a father. I’ve consistently volunteered at my kids school, active in their sports and ensure they spend time with their extended family in Tucson. I think it’s important they have a relationship with their grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins and we are very grateful for such a loving and supportive community.
