Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Pamela Trice. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Pamela thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Was there a defining moment in your professional career? A moment that changed the trajectory of your career?
When I think back to my defining moment, it wasn’t a single flash of inspiration but more of a gradual awakening. I had always been passionate about beauty and wellness, but the turning point came when I noticed how much people, especially women, were struggling with hair health—myself included. After years of dealing with breakage, thinning, and just overall damage from harsh chemicals and products that didn’t live up to their promises, I realized something had to change, and that change had to start with me.
At the time, I was juggling life as a mom and a corporate professional, feeling stretched thin but still hungry for something that truly fueled me. I started diving into research, learning about the power of natural ingredients, and experimenting with my own formulations in my kitchen. It was both empowering and eye-opening to discover that nature really does have the answers.
The moment I knew I was on the right path happened during a casual conversation with a friend. She had noticed the transformation in my hair and asked what my secret was. That’s when it hit me: it wasn’t just about my personal journey anymore—it was about creating something bigger. Something that could help others reclaim their confidence and empower them to embrace their natural beauty.
From that conversation, Tress Organix was born. It’s more than just a product line; it’s a movement towards self-care and self-love. The heart of Tress Organix is rooted in transforming damaged, brittle hair into long, healthy, thriving strands using only the purest, all-natural ingredients. But more than that, it’s about restoring confidence in women who, like me, have spent too long feeling frustrated with their hair journey.
That shift—from just being passionate about beauty to wanting to create real solutions for others—is what truly defined my path as an entrepreneur. I realized that I had the power not only to change my own life but to make a lasting impact on others, and that’s been the driving force behind everything I do.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m Pam Trice, a proud momtrepreneur and the founder of Tress Organix, a beauty brand that focuses on all-natural solutions for revitalizing damaged hair. My journey into the hair care industry wasn’t planned but deeply personal. It all began when my daughter Kristen experienced severe hair loss due to heat damage and harsh chemicals. Watching her struggle with her hair was heartbreaking, and I knew I had to find a solution that didn’t rely on synthetic products that often did more harm than good. I dove headfirst into research, experimenting with organic ingredients in my kitchen, and learned that true hair restoration starts at the scalp. That discovery led to the creation of Tress Organix—a range of deeply hydrating creams, conditioners, and moisturizers designed to nourish, repair, and strengthen hair from the root up.
What sets Tress Organix apart is our focus on scalp health and consistent moisture, which are often overlooked in mainstream hair care. Our products are specifically crafted for women facing the same challenges my daughter and I did, offering real solutions for hair recovery. But more than just fixing damaged hair, Tress Organix is about empowering women to feel confident and beautiful, embracing the transformative power of natural ingredients. Seeing the impact we’ve made, from customers regaining their confidence to celebrating their natural beauty, is what I’m most proud of. At the end of the day, my mission is to help women everywhere reclaim the health and beauty of their hair, one organic solution at a time.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
One of the most defining moments of my journey came through my dear friend Adrienne, whose resilience continues to inspire me to this day. When she confided in me about her breast cancer diagnosis, it shook me to my core. The reality of losing her hair to chemotherapy was devastating, and I could see how deeply it affected her. After completing treatment and triumphing over cancer, Adrienne returned to her life, but her once-vibrant hair was gone. Then, one day, she called me and asked if she could try the Tress Organix products. While I felt uncertain—given the toll cancer treatments take on the body—I couldn’t turn her down. She was my friend, and I wanted to help her feel like herself again. I gave her the full range, hoping for the best but with no guarantees.
Three months later, Adrienne called me, her voice brimming with excitement. Her hair had started to grow back—stronger, thicker, and healthier than either of us could have imagined. I remember the tears of joy we shared, not just because my products worked, but because it symbolized something much deeper. Her journey wasn’t just about regaining her hair; it was about reclaiming her strength, her confidence, and her identity. Today, Adrienne is cancer-free with a head full of vibrant, healthy hair, and knowing that I played even a small role in her recovery fills me with pride and purpose. This experience reinforced my belief that Tress Organix is more than just hair care—it’s about healing, resilience, and empowering others to embrace their journeys, no matter how difficult they may be.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
One of the hardest lessons I had to unlearn was the belief that success in entrepreneurship happens quickly. Like many new business owners, I entered this journey with high expectations, thinking that results would manifest almost overnight if I just worked hard enough. I was eager, ambitious, and ready to conquer the world. But as the months rolled on, I found myself facing setbacks, unexpected challenges, and the sobering realization that things weren’t moving as fast as I had imagined. That’s when the lesson of “slow and steady wins the race” truly hit home. Success isn’t about a sprint; it’s a marathon that requires endurance, consistency, and a deep respect for the process.
I had to embrace the reality that building something meaningful takes time, and growth doesn’t happen in leaps—it happens in small, intentional steps. Each victory, no matter how minor it seemed, was part of a larger picture, and I had to shift my mindset from seeking instant gratification to celebrating gradual progress. Patience became my greatest ally. I began to understand that consistency, not speed, is what drives a business forward. This was a humbling, yet powerful lesson, and once I let go of the unrealistic expectations of rapid success, I was able to focus on what really mattered: building a brand with integrity, purpose, and resilience. That shift in perspective has been key to both my personal and business growth, and it’s a lesson I carry with me every day.
