We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Shae Ivery a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Shae, appreciate you joining us today. It’s always helpful to hear about times when someone’s had to take a risk – how did they think through the decision, why did they take the risk, and what ended up happening. We’d love to hear about a risk you’ve taken.

I have struggled with gaining support from my circle, my family and my friends because of the spiritual nature of my business. The “Bible Belt” mentality reigns supreme making unorthodox and holistic healing practices seem like fetishism. It’s a risk doing what I do because people have spooky ideas about it and my gift. Also, I put myself on display for people to target me for my beliefs. I have had periods of highs and lows because my business and marketing are social media based, but I ride each wave with confidence and faith. Progress is not always linear. As long as I’m helping people, I keep striving!

Shae, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Sweet Chariot Healing Company is a Tarot Reading, Constellations Therapy and Spiritual Swag business! We offer personal tarot readings and unique Spiritual Swag through our Etsy Shop. We provide free Tarot Readings on all social media platforms. We hold meetup events to bring family constellations therapy to the masses. I love teaching people about themselves, their entanglements and generational curses, and their patterns in love and career. My greatest accomplishments are when clients tell me that my services have “saved their lives.”

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

I started my spiritual journey by trying to figure my way out of a period of depression. I was going through a divorce, changing careers, accepting my childhood trauma, black-sheep relationships, and getting over infertility issues. I unlearned and relearned who I was by researching tarot, psychology and family constellations therapy. I have practiced them for years now; and the SWEET CHARIOT HEALING COMPANY is finally in full effect helping to heal the world one reading at a time!

If you could go back, would you choose the same profession, specialty, etc.?

I would absolutely choose to be a Spiritual GURU in this and any other lifetime. I’m exponentially lucky to have been blessed with this journey in this life! I have skills and experience with Interior Design; and it’s a passion of mine. I have designed homes, clinics, bars, business offices and more. I am still designing and creating beauty wherever I roam. I use my spiritual gifts and intuitive nudges in this arena as well to better serve my clients. Ultimately, no matter what work I do, my spiritual gifts are utilized! Therefore, I wouldn’t change a thing!
