Johnnie, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
Success Is Not a Destination—It’s a Mindset You Shape Through Action” Success is not a thing or an object. Success to me is formed in your mind and manifested through meaningful actions and life habits. Keeping in mind that mental attitudes, habits, and behaviors must be built for where you are trying to go in life. This requires a lot of deep thought and a willingness to undertake study, make sacrifices, and discipline. Once I learned and understood this invaluable fundamental principle the path toward success became more visible.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Reflecting on my cooking craft which has now solidified me as a home-chef began a longtime ago. I remember as a young boy watching my grandmother cook . For some odd reason I was always in the kitchen, now that I look back it seems like life really took place in the kitchen. I believed those “kitchen” experiences framed me or exposed me to the many dynamics of cooking and it was just something I came to love. For me it is a way to decompress and also allow my creative energy to explode. Cooking allows me to share new ideas and thoughts about foods with family and friends, It’s a way of introducing them to new food items and cultures they may not have been able to experience. My specialty is vegan meals, my primary objective is to show the world that vegan foods are delicious and delightful not to mean you can make them very healthy.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
That humility is not devaluing you or allowing others to subject you to what they think you should be or do with your God-given talents. In life we are told so many times to not get the big head. I understand the thoughts behind it but if you don’t take pride in your work or what you are striving to become then you are placing your density in the hands of others. And those others, might just like you on the level they are. So I had to learn to change my way of thinking, not to be prideful and appreciative of what I have been given and to not allow others to limit my dreams or potential. Learn to become your own mental inventor!
