We recently connected with Claire Crawford and have shared our conversation below.
Claire, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s start with a story that highlights an important way in which your brand diverges from the industry standard.
Our professional organizing services cater to a wide range of needs, including home organization, holiday decor, real estate staging, moving assistance, downsizing, and selective hoarding. We specialize in creating personalized solutions that not only transform spaces but also empower clients to maintain order long-term.
Our team of skilled professionals is carefully selected for their diverse strengths and abilities. This allows us to pair each client with an organizer who truly understands their unique needs and can provide tailored solutions. We’re particularly proud of our expertise in working with neurodivergent clients, who often find it challenging to maintain the organized spaces created by other companies.
We believe in a personalized approach to organizing, focusing on understanding our clients’ habits, routines, and emotional attachments to their belongings. By working together, we can develop sustainable systems that help clients declutter, streamline their lives, and reduce overconsumption. Our goal is to empower individuals to create organized spaces that not only look beautiful but also promote a sense of calm and well-being.

Claire, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Growing up in an entrepreneurial family, I always knew I wanted to start my own business, but I wasn’t sure what form it would take. While studying business, I learned the importance of identifying and solving problems. Over the years, I noticed a recurring theme: people were overwhelmed by clutter and how it negatively impacted their homes and well-being.
As someone with ADHD, I understand firsthand the transformative power of an organized space. A clutter-free environment helps me stay focused, productive, and calm. I’ve seen the same positive effects in my friends and family, who have expressed increased clarity, peace, and efficiency after organizing their homes.
Inspired by these experiences, I decided to pursue my passion for organizing and share it with others. The satisfaction of helping people declutter their lives and create more harmonious spaces is incredibly rewarding. I’ve found that organizing isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about streamlining your daily life, reducing stress, and creating a sense of mental clarity.
When your home is organized, you’ll find it easier to navigate your day, whether you’re rushing to drop off kids or juggling multiple responsibilities. It’s a place of peace and tranquility, not a source of frustration. By focusing on items that truly serve you, you’ll also become more mindful of your spending habits and invest in things that align with your values.

Any advice for managing a team?
Creating a family-like atmosphere within my team has always been a priority. Through my previous experiences, I’ve learned the value of flexibility, respect, and support in fostering a positive work environment.
I understand that family comes first, so I strive to be as accommodating as possible with my employees’ schedules. When they feel valued and supported, they can come to work with a positive mindset and better serve our clients. I believe that a happy and engaged team is essential for the success of our business.
Open communication and a sense of trust are crucial to building a strong team. I’m always available to listen to my employees’ concerns and offer support whenever needed. By creating a welcoming and supportive environment, I hope to empower my team to thrive and contribute their best to our company.

Have you ever had to pivot?
Like I said before, I always knew entrepreneurship was in my future, but I wasn’t sure when or how it would manifest. Prior to the pandemic, I was working in performing arts, a job I loved deeply. However, when the pandemic hit and the industry was forced to shut down, I realized it was time for a change.
As people began working from home, the clutter in their living spaces became increasingly evident. Recognizing this as an opportunity, I decided to pursue professional organizing full-time. I believe that when God closes one door, it’s important to remain open-minded and explore new possibilities.
By embracing this unexpected turn of events, I discovered my true calling in organizing. I’m grateful for the journey that led me here and the fulfilling life I’ve built through my business.
