We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Ranika Koneru a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Ranika, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

It started with fireworks and feeling the magic of a joyous celebration during the Fallas festival in Valencia, Spain. The city came alive through sculpture, through the community banding together for the year to create beautiful floats and witness them burn together. This was not just an experience but the ability to witness a culture, a people, a tradition to the fullest. Since then, I’ve learned of several other festivals similar to this one where a cultural just as beautiful would showcase their traditions to the world. I wanted to help others know about them and experience these immersive ways to understand and be fully present with some of the greatest world’s treasures. That was the initial spark behind Cloud Connections. From there, it grew into helping people realize their true calling and transformed into creating a pathway into financial freedom through workshops and empowering individuals to design their days. I believe people should experience the most out of life and have learned the best way to do this is to equip them with how with learning to be financially free and the why in being able to enjoy the world’s greatest moments through festivals most meaningful to a culture and a country.

Ranika, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I’m Ranika Koneru, a recently married nomad turned expat currently living in the Netherlands. I’m an American working my way up the corporate ladder and have done that for 10 years. I worked in all kinds of industries from Consulting, Government to Tech and realized that there was more than just climbing a ladder. Covid was the time I realized I could work from anywhere, and so that is what I did for the first year. I surrounded myself with inspiring successful people that inspired me to go after my dream to help others create more for themselves. I created Cloud Connections to give them an unforgettable experience in Rio de Janiero for Carnival and am so thrilled how delighted people were with the everlasting memory. I realized I wanted to do more so now I coach people into creating their version of financial freedom through affiliate marketing, real estate investing, or acquiring a business. I’ve incorporated this on upcoming retreats to empower other.

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?

I created a whatsapp group and have an email list. I share personal updates and exclusive news in these channels that create an environment to break barriers and open people to share their vulnerable selves whether online or in person.

Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?

Mind Magic – James Doty.
I highly recommend this as it’s an insight into manifestation from a neuro scientist. I share with my clients that once they have their mindset ready, the world is their oyster. I share different tools that I recommend on doing this and we actively practice gratitude and meditation as a pillar of our retreats.
