Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kevin Williamson. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Kevin, appreciate you joining us today. Risking taking is a huge part of most people’s story but too often society overlooks those risks and only focuses on where you are today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – it could be a big risk or a small one – but walk us through the backstory.

My Father in law, that passed away in 2006, believed in me. Told me if I could do it for someone else, I could do it for myself. I took a risk and here we are, in June it wil be 25 years.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I worked for other shops in the industry. Always enjoyed finishing a project and reflecting on the time and energy it took to make it. It was always rewarding to see the finished project

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

So, from 2007-2008, our gross sales went down 60% because of the recession. I went from 7 employees to 2. It was cut or be cut. We made it.

Can you open up about how you funded your business?

My Dad gave me a small loan and I saved and pinched every penny I could to make it happen. I’ve been blessed for sure.
