We recently connected with Summer Crosley and have shared our conversation below.

Summer, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.

For over a decade I have been part of numerous ocean conservation projects around the globe. Helping to raise awareness of our shortage of water supply, ocean clean up groups, and bringing safe drinking water to countries in need of it.

Summer, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Working as a model and actress in Los Angeles I was featured in countless magazines. I knew I wanted to do more then just get my photo taken . That’s when I started my own candle company and donated proceeds to beach clean up groups and from there get many informative stories published on ways others can help save the ocean and reduce plastic use.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

My goal in life is to help save our planet. There is so much pollution in the world. From plastic to smog to trash. We need to all find ways to reduce , reuse and recycle

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

I would say just be YOU.
