We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Zaire Bellamy a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Zaire thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Taking care of customers isn’t just good business – it is often one of the main reasons folks went into business in the first place. So, we’d love to get a conversation going around how to best help clients feel appreciated – maybe you can share something you’ve done or seen someone do that’s been really effective at helping a customer feel valued?
I helped my client gain the strength to confront their abusers. It all started from a reading deal that I offered. It was meant to be a short reading but I kept feeling called to dig deeper. I picked up on their trauma with being abused physically and sexually. At the start of the session they were fearful and felt powerless in their circumstances. Speaking from a similar and personal experience I shared with them the tools I used to heal myself. I usually apply additional charges but this client truly needed healing right then and there. So I helped. 3 months later they reached back out to me to thank me for my help, they were able to confront their abusers and get everything off their chest. And they were able to pursue charges since there was partial evidence and the statute of limitations was still active. And then 5 months after receiving that news they informed me they were able to receive legal justice for their pain and suffering. It made me so happy because I wasn’t able to receive legal justice in my situation. I say it all the time, while my spiritual services are my livelihood, it’s not all about the money for me. I truly enjoy and find a sense of fulfillment helping people heal.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Zai’s Divine Vision is proof that you can start again and win! My company prides itself on being a safe space for all walks of life and place of healing in all aspects! I’ve been in business over 4 years now and never plan to stop. I offer a multiple of spiritual and regular services. I offer tarot readings, reiki healing, mediumship, spellwork, 1:1 Classes, etc. I’m also currently working on my certification for astrology to become a chart reader! I have many platforms but I am most active on my Facebook. I do eventually want to open my own physical store but I have put that on the back burner until I finish my degree.

Do you have any stories of times when you almost missed payroll or any other near death experiences for your business?
Whew, there was a time where I had a fellow spiritualist that I disconnected from attempted to slander my name and ruin my reputation. It was actually around the time when I had my first interview with this magazine this year! The person and I did not end on bad terms, I just decided to listen to my intuition which told me to distance myself from them. A month later after removing myself is when my interview was officially published and that’s when the drama started. I was accused of sending negative energy and wishing bad towards a child and a pregnancy. It wasn’t the case AT ALL! Part of me did want to constantly defend myself but, knowing what I was being accused of was false I let it go. I trusted my intuition that the truth about that person would come out and they ended up being exposed for not only doing the same thing they did to me to other people but, they also were exposed for being a spiritual scammer! Biggest lesson in that situation was to have faith that my name will be cleared without me lifting a finger!

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Plain and simple, by being MYSELF! I showed love to other spiritualists content genuinely! I networked and always stayed true to my goal and my vision. The world isn’t all sunshine and rainbows, sometimes I’m given messages on heavy subjects that I have to put out to the collective. It’s not always about what you want to hear and all the good stuff! I pride myself in customer service, even if I happen to fall short I always make it up to my customers. Simply because there would be no me without them!
