We were lucky to catch up with Moises Molina Aldana recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Moises thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start big picture – what are some of biggest trends you are seeing in your industry?
I have been on the Insurance industry since I finish High School at my home country and some many different coverage are available here in the US. Sometimes those coverage are very difficult to understand and more for those people how just arrive to America. That has been one of our challenges, to make people really understand what they are paying for.
One coverage I want to share is The Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist. We do not have this available in South America, and trying to explaining how it works result very confusing sometimes. But at the same time this one is one of the trending coverage in the Personal Auto industry becase due to the rate increase in the last 9 months, a lot of people choose to not being insured.
If you are reading this and you are a responsable citizen I will recommend you to add this coverage on your personal auto policy, so you won’t have to worry if someone without insurance hits you because you will be paying a little extra premium but will have the resources to get out of that uncomfortable situation right away.

Moises, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I have more that 12 years experience on the Insurance industry. Since I was 17 my family introduce me into the insurance world. Has been amazing being able to help and educate folks about what type of insurance they need.
We try to guide our insureds about the resources and tools available to solve claims. We are also proud to help our hispanic community in the Austin, TX area.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
As an immigrant who came to this wonderful country with less than $500 in 2015 I will say that if you know yourself and you are aware of your personal strengths, just be patience and trust in yourself and make every day something that push you into where you want to be.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
The principal topic that has helped me building a good reputation is working with high ethic standards. When your work is based on the insured’s needs, they (the people) will notice that and will know that you are not there to sell but you are there to help.
