We recently connected with Nikita Magan and have shared our conversation below.
Nikita, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s go back in time a bit – can you share a story of a time when you learned an important lesson during your education?
In high school, I learned a crucial lesson about perseverance and adaptability. Struggling with a challenging math class, I was frustrated by my inability to grasp the concepts. After a particularly tough test, I stayed after class to seek help from my teacher. She patiently explained the material in a new way, showing me that adapting my approach could lead to success.
This experience taught me that perseverance isn’t just about pushing through difficulties; it’s about being open to new strategies and perspectives. This lesson has been vital in my journey, especially in launching Vedi Beauty, where adaptability and determination have helped me overcome obstacles and achieve my goals.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Hello! I’m the founder of Vedi Beauty, a makeup brand inspired by my journey as a stroke survivor with cerebral palsy. I created Vedi Beauty to fill a gap in the market for lipsticks that cater to two-tone lips and golden skin tones, using natural oils and waxes for nourishment and protection.
Our lipsticks stand out for their high-quality ingredients and exceptional performance, offering shades that are often hard to find. I’m proud of how Vedi Beauty resonates with those who value quality and authenticity. Our brand is about celebrating individuality and providing beauty solutions that empower and inspire.
Thank you for learning about Vedi Beauty. I invite you to experience the unique blend of beauty and care that our brand offers.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
A key moment of resilience in my journey was launching Vedi Beauty. As a stroke survivor with cerebral palsy, entering the competitive beauty industry was daunting. Despite challenges, I was determined to create lipsticks for two-tone lips and golden skin tones using natural ingredients.
The process involved extensive research and overcoming setbacks, but my commitment to my vision kept me going. This resilience paid off as Vedi Beauty resonated with customers who valued our quality and authenticity. This experience taught me that resilience is about staying true to your purpose and pushing forward, no matter the obstacles.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to unlearn the belief that everything needed to be perfect before taking action. Initially, this mindset delayed my progress with Vedi Beauty. I realized that waiting for perfection was holding me back, so I embraced taking imperfect action and learning along the way. This shift allowed me to launch the brand, adapt, and grow based on real-world feedback. It taught me that progress often comes from bold steps and a willingness to adjust.
