We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Julieth Ramirez a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Julieth, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Earning a full time living from one’s creative career can be incredibly difficult. Have you been able to do so and if so, can you share some of the key parts of your journey and any important advice or lessons that might help creatives who haven’t been able to yet?
In this moment I feel so happy because finally I can say this is my real Job,
When I started the most difficult step was the people knew me so I supported myself on social networks this was a huge help ..
Posting every day .. recommended other local businesses and the most important thing I ever posted my jobs made by me this make people trust on you , know your level and progress

My name is julieth , i from cali ,Colombia ,mom of 2 and very passionate of my art .. I’m an empirical artist and this make me feel so proud , I been so creative all my life so when I start in this business my principal focus was makes unique arrangements, and makes my jobs looks different of the rest .. offering to my clients exclusive balloons , the last trending , making unique desings and really enjoying what I do … every customer is an opportunity for me for make something new i love surprise my customers
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
Honestly many ! I have many goals and cool ideas for makes my business bigger and can surprise more people , as customers as other balloon artists , I think in my city the balloon business still so small , so will love to make our balloon services more accessible to all no matter your budget a place where the people can found from a detail until a stadium decoration… I would love to associate with other services and offer a complete services of events and products…
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding aspect is when you can see the final result of your work, normally the balloons jobs take a lot of time .. so when finally you can see it as you want is so exciting , or when the customers just tell you make whatever you want and them they are so surprised and loving what you do the customer face is the best payment!
