We were lucky to catch up with Jordan Childs recently and have shared our conversation below.

Jordan , appreciate you joining us today. Let’s jump right into how you came up with the idea?

My name is Jordan Childs. I am a content creator that makes basketball videos wearing crocs. What gave me the idea of playing basketball in my crocs was that I’ve always wanted to be different. Instead of me wearing regular basketball shoes, why not wear shoes that make me feel a bit more comfortable? Wearing crocs allows me to express myself on the court and move freely without a consequence. People often question why, and I answer back with a glaze of confidence. A series of moves proceeded by beautiful footwork, and still being able to keep my crocs on is unbelievable to others, but not I because I believe in my abilities. You can do anything you set your mind to, and that’s the message I’m yearning towards conveying to the audience!

Jordan , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I am from Indianapolis, Indiana. I got into playing basketball when I was a little kid. Ever since then, I’ve been in love with the sport. What sets me apart from others is that I don’t try to be the same as everyone else. I inspire others to be comfortable with who they are. I am most proud of the relationships/connections that I’ve made with others throughout the game that I love.

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?

I wish I had been more knowledgeable about business marketing, and actually surround myself with people that could’ve helped me out.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

What helped me build my reputation was consistency. In order to be successful in what you do, you have to be consistent. The moment you stop, you lose interest, and you promise yourself you’re going to the do it the next day. However, once the next day comes, you don’t do it, and it becomes a pattern. No matter how difficult things get, you can never give up. Even on your worst days, you have to keep pushing through. We all have a purpose in life. Why do you think you woke up this morning?
