Today we’d like to introduce you to Abigail (abiv) Voightmann

Hi Abigail (ABiV), thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.

I started my business, ABiV LLC, while attending a local community college in 2019. I spent 3 1/2 years gaining experience and networking with studios, models, videographers and assisting established photographers. It was a really great run and I’m grateful for the people I worked with and learned from. In January 2023 I was given an opportunity to make a career shift and focus on creating in a new way. I took on the role as Executive Assistant to my pastor, James E. Ward Jr., for James Ward Ministries, and Creative Manager at my church, INSIGHT Church. Later in the year I started another role as Director of Communications for TLN Media, a global Christian broadcast and digital communications company.

Although my plate has more than the usual photoshoots and editing sessions, my company continues to grow and is evolving into a more sustainable endeavor. ABiV LLC has expanded into a multi-media production company that primarily services local businesses. I manage, create content, and oversee 5 social media accounts with a retainer model. My current cliental is very broad from influencers to local coffee shops such as Clancy Brothers. Coffee Roasters, a café and roastery. With this new change of pace in my career I have had a balance of creative and administrative work. I love what I do and can honestly say I am living a dream life. One only God could have designed and placed me in with such purpose and care.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?

It has been smooth for the most part. I think recently the challenge has been time management and fitting in as much as possible, while finding time for rest and the things I enjoy. There will always be work to do, it never ends. And your perspective on that can lead you to or away from burnout. Knowing when to give all that I have when it’s time to get things done and knowing when to slow down and breathe can be a challenge. But I try to look at anything I struggle with as an opportunity for character development and the producing of enduring, steadfast faith.

My business ABiV LLC: A multi-media production company that primarily services local businesses through photography, videography, graphic design, communications, and social media management.

My full-time job as Executive Assistant and Business Project Manager to James E. Ward Jr., Director of Communications for TLN Media, and Creative Manager at INSIGHT Church.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?

”Something that may be surprising is that I’ve been working in the social media industry for 7 years now. My first job when I was 16 years old was to create graphics and post content for Dr. Robb Thompson. The opportunities he gave me taught me the foundations of what I do today.”
