We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful SaraMaria M. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with SaraMaria below.
Hi SaraMaria, thanks for joining us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
I have always had a heart for women and I always had the ability to connect people. When I started my first business I had no idea what I was doing and I did everything out of order. Then during the pandemic I was working for the SBA and I was realizing there were several business owners that were missing key items that prevented them from getting an SBA loan. It was then that God gave me the idea for BusinessBabeBasics as a way for me to empower other women to become their own boss and as a way to connect women together. I’ve lived in Phoenix for the last five years and I have built an incredible network of women and so I wanted to share my network of women with other women so that they to could receive the help and support that I did to get to where I am

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?
In February 2022 I was on the cover of Phoenix entrepreneur magazine as a number one business consultant and the number one woman to know. I’m very proud of this as I’ve only had this company for under two years.
I love to collaborate with other women and brands and businesses and I love to support women in general
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
Word of mouth has definitely been the best source for me. I go to several networking events where I know either potential clients or potential business partners will be at. Every time I go to a networking event, I bring my cards and I speak to women and I let them know about my business and I let them know about my networking event. I also am apart of the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce and Arizona Entreprenurs , both networks have led me to new clients and business partners

How did you build your audience on social media?
I have been working on my Instagram following long before I even had a business lol but over the last couple years the best advice I could give to anyone that is trying to build their social media is this;
I am no social media expert as I am still trying to get up to 10K but posting consistently, especially in your stories and posting at least three times a week on your feed will definitely help. Consistency is the key with everything!
