Today we’d like to introduce you to Christopher Wealth

Hi Christopher , thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.

What’s the word, it’s Christopher Wealth aka Mr.Handsome checking in, how I got started in fashion started off with an inspiration and a dream. In High School my fashion teacher told me that I have a lot of drive to pursue anything when it came to fashion. Around this time I went from watching music artist such as A$AP Rocky, Pharrell, Kanye, DMX and Lil Uzi, to watching runway shows with Jeremy Scott, Pyer Moss, Margiela, and Dior. I had this drive to take fashion far so once I got into college (The Art Institute) I went from pursuing my dreams of a fashion stylist, to becoming a model. Since I started flowing in harmony with this dream, it landed me into New Work Fashion Week, getting recognize by big brands such as Ralph Lauren, Chicago Over Everything, Zara, Mnml, Levi and many more. Also traveling doing runway shows, meeting photographers and having a new found love/ beauty for life and its creation.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?

Im telling you this hasn’t been the most easiest road/journey however it is definitely a beautiful one I’ll tell you that. I remember taking a huge leap of faith in diving into my dreams to bring them to life, I was scared, nervous, and confused at the same time. Trying to get better with my mental health while worrying how I’m going to eat, how I’m going to get this money, and what is the next step is the worst thing ever, but I came up out of it. I seen for myself what God has blessed with me and continue to bless me with many more. I was more concern about my money and dreams if anything, I kept questioning myself about what I was doing because I wasn’t seeing the results (plus I was low-key broke so of course I was going through it). However every time I push my self to get through, there was always an opportunity for me to go further, so I took it. I’m not going to lie it was surprising no matter what I was going through at the time period something always worked out for me. From meeting one of my favorite designers, to flying just to be in a fashion show, to doing brand deals, I felt like I had no choice but to keep going because of how deep I was into the fashion world. No matter what was going on I always told me self that I have to make it in fashion no matter what! Now that I devoted myself to fashion and what it has in store I see more opportunities, more passion, more possibilities, and a different out look. No matter what happened to me fashion never left my side.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?

So what I do is what I do and I do it very well. I am a fashion model (going to be a wealthy fashion icon one day). I take pride in knowing that this is what I want to do with my life and this is the only option for me and me only. I’m very proud of my dedication to myself and my dreams that are coming true, I’m also proud of how many are doors opening for me to get this far in my career. Even though Iv been doing this for a what seems like a long time, I never gave up. What set me apart from others is one I’m handsome ya dig, but also how people gravitate towards me. You can definitely say my character and how I treat people is what set me apart from everybody if we going to keep it a buck fifty. That plays a huge role of who I am as an individual.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?

Two things, Faith and Fashion!!
Faith because that is what help me get through my depression and help go for my desire. When it came to believing myself I had choice to put all my faith in what I was dong so I can live the reality I want to live. Faith taught me trust, prosperity, and balance.

Fashion because that is my life, and I love everything that comes with. Rather it is people, clothes, texture, the purpose behind it, what ever it is I love everything about it. One day I’m going to be on panel talking about it trust me
