The journey of RM KANDY Jewelry is deeply personal and reflects my diverse passions. My background in accounting and finance taught me precision and attention to detail, while my experience in the banking and finance industry provided a solid foundation in business. My years devoted to my family’s business further enriched my entrepreneurial insights and understanding of various industries.

I have always been an artist at heart. For many years, I played the piano professionally, nurturing a love for creativity and expression. During my studies, I enjoyed working in the fashion industry, immersing myself in the world of style and luxury design. Fashion, style, travel and design have always been my passions, and creating unique looks has become a part of me. Many of RM KANDY’s pieces are exclusive in quantity, designed to make the wearer feel truly special.

The pivotal moment came during my recovery from surgery. Whenever someone asked, “Where did you get that?” I proudly answered, “I made it.” It was then that I realized I could share my creations with people who appreciate fashion jewelry and the art of accessorizing. My goal was to offer jewelry that was affordable to the public without compromising on quality.

For me, an outfit is incomplete without jewels and accessories. They add the finishing touch that brings a look together, whether it’s a minimalistic touch or a statement piece. Jewelry has the power to elevate any outfit, transforming it from ordinary to extraordinary.

Starting RM KANDY Jewelry allowed me to blend my financial skills with my artistic side and entrepreneurial spirit. Each piece is thoughtfully designed to transition seamlessly from day to night, embodying a timeless style. Our collections are crafted to be worn daily, reflecting enduring elegance and sustainable craftsmanship. Quality has always been a priority.

Creating jewelry is one of my many passions that I look forward to exploring and continuing. My designs are inspired by the people and places I have encountered along the way. Giving back to different causes and my community through RM KANDY collaborations throughout the year is incredibly fulfilling, adding another layer of purpose to my work.

Today, RM KANDY Jewelry is featured in some of Montreal’s most luxurious boutiques, reaching women who appreciate the beauty and craftsmanship of handmade, sustainable jewelry. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see my designs resonate with so many. I am excited to continue sharing the uniqueness and elegance of RM KANDY Jewelry with the world, helping people look and feel their best, regardless of age, style, or background.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?

Creating and developing RM KANDY Jewelry into a recognizable brand has been far from easy. As an entrepreneur starting with minimal support, every milestone has been hard-earned. Scaling and navigating the complexities of entrepreneurship require dedication and perseverance, especially without extensive resources or a large team. However, I firmly believe that anything is possible when you have faith in your vision.

Throughout the challenges, I’ve learned invaluable lessons that have fueled my growth. Each obstacle has taught me resilience, resourcefulness, and the importance of staying fearless in the face of adversity. These experiences have not only shaped me as an entrepreneur but have strengthened my resolve to build RM KANDY into a brand that celebrates creativity and brings happiness to our customers.
