Cory, appreciate you joining us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?

I’ve always been obsessed with music, there’s really nothing else I’ve ever wanted to do with my life. It started in church, then moved to punk rock and hip hop, then as an adult I fell in love with country music when I heard George Strait and Willie Nelson. That’s when I started writing my own songs and finally felt fulfilled.

Cory, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I’m a country music songwriter and singer, specializing in Honkytonk and Outlaw sounds. I’ve been writing and performing for over two decades and I don’t plan to stop. I’ve got plenty of records out; it’s how I pay the bills so stream those things as much as possible.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

People gravitate towards authenticity. They also don’t wanna be constantly shows a commercial. My social media promotions started to succeed when I quit trying to shove my music into people’s faces and focused more on sharing my journey genuinely and pin pointing specific things that I wanted to connect with people over

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?

Go to shows, stream music, share music, buy merch. Appreciate music for the sake of the music. Seek out music that speaks to your soul
