We were lucky to catch up with Hailey Grabowski recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hailey, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?

Growing up, my parents always told me I could do anything I put my mind to. They often used the phrase “mind over matter”. As a child, this was something I kept in mind especially during sports. As years went on, this phrase continued to stick with me and became more relevant during the battles life threw my way. When I began my content creation/influencer career, I struggled with numerous things. Growing on social media has not been easy and often leaves you questioning if it is worth it. There are also always going to be negative people whose commentary can leave you wanting to give up. There is also the everyday struggle of life. Life is not easy! However, one of the many things that keep me positive, confident and ready to take on any battle is the quote, “mind over matter”. If I put my mind to it, I can do anything. I continue to believe in myself and let God control of my life. And with that, nothing can stop me.

Hailey, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

Hi everyone, my name is Hailey Grabowski! I am a a social media influencer/content creator, model and business owner from the Jersey shore. I began modeling during the COVID-19 global pandemic and discovered all those years of loving my picture taken was not for nothing! As I continued modeling, I began to partner with brands which led to my influencer/content creator career. I found such a joy in helping businesses by creating and posting content about their products/services. I fell in love with this lifestyle and haven’t looked back since. As a lifestyle creator, I enjoy filming and posting get ready with me videos, spend a day with me videos, hauls, product testing and everything in between! As someone who absolutely loves traveling, I have also found a passion for creating travel content. In addition, I post about Jesus on my pages! On my social media platforms, I always strive to create a positive space for my audience. My goal is to make just one person smile, laugh, find a product that they will love or know Jesus loves them and they are never alone.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

The most rewarding aspect of being a content creator is making a positive impact on someone’s life. No matter how big or how small of an impact it may be, I want to leave a positive mark. I will never forget the first time a follower of mine sent me a DM telling me how one of my posts helped her realize that she was worthy and was not defined by her personal struggle. Three years ago, I was diagnosed with Lupus; a chronic auto-immune disease affecting and attacking the healthy tissue and organs in the body. When life throws you hardships, it can be difficult to overcome it, but I want to help let others know that whatever your battle is, it does not define you. You are more than your struggles. You are beautifully and wonderfully made. It is the most incredible feeling to realize that by sharing glimpses of my story and sharing positivity online, it has helped people.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

Building an audience on social media is not easy! It will take a lot of consistency, hard-work, dedication and passion! Find what you love making content about and post, post, post. My best advice to those starting to build a social media presence is, if you want it, don’t give up and don’t let the fear of rejection stop you. When your video gets 100 views or your post gets 10 likes, do not let that deter you! Do not let a brand rejecting to work with you stop you from reaching out to the next brand. Always remember, when one door closes, another will open! Your open door is awaiting!
