In our experience, talking about legacy is often subtly discouraged by society and we find this to be deeply unfortunate. Thinking about the legacy you would like to build can help you better align your work, life, time – your sweat and tears – with your values. Below, we’ve tried to create a space for folks to start conversations about they legacies they are hoping to build.

In becoming an author and life coach my main mission in life is to help others become their best selves. My legacy behind my work that I want to be remembered by is that I was willing to do whatever I could to see others truly happy. It wasn’t always about the money for me but more about the mission of trying to heal a hurting nation world wide. Read more>>

I hope to empower women to safely & confidently come out of the “Green Closet” as cannabis consumers to modernize the perception of cannabis. Cannabis is a naturally grown plant and while it can be consumed recreationally, there are many people who are consuming medicinally and as an extension of their wellness routines. Through education, community, equity empowerment, and wellness advocacy, I hope to glamorize the stigma of cannabis. Read more>>

My Legacy. Such an important aspect to consider when building an empire, just as we have begun to break the foundation of our own. The richness of an individual’s life. What that individual accomplished along with the impact their life had on people and places. Do we take this into consideration enough in society these days? What we want our legacy to be. I hope that my legacy will live in the photos that I create for my clients. Someone can look back on a photo that was taken years before and immediately be taken back to how they felt in that moment, and that is one of the amazing parts of what I get to provide for people. I want my legacy to represent that way that my clients have tangible memories of the most pivotal and special moments of their lives. Read more>>

When I’m done, I hope that I left a legacy of hard work, great work and most of all, being remembered for helping people. I enjoy it when someone whom I taught grows and creates their own legacy. I’ve always been a student of history and how the masters had students sitting at their feet and learning. Those teachers and philosophers passed on knowledge and it continues to passed along . Not saying I’m a master, just saying that I’m glad that I’ve passed along something to someone. Read more>>

Great question. Personally I believe my legacy will be one of hard work, diligence and high level content. The age we live in is so fast paced so a major part of my mentality outside of my creative process is capitalizing on the moment. Beyond great music the world can enjoy until the end of time my legacy will be the lives I shape, the minds I positively impact. Read more>>

Before & after leaving this world I would hope the work and efforts I put towards everything I have going on inspire my peers as well as others that may not know me personally. I would hope to be a great role model for the community to look up to. The legacy that would be left behind in the honor of my name will be held in high ranks for generations. I would want my family to know whatever obstacles life through at me I never gave up! Read more>>

When I leave this earth, I want peace in knowing that I shined my light as bright as I could, spreading God’s love wherever I go. I hope my legacy leaves women feeling encouraged to step into their full power and be confident – not just through the clothes they wear, but how they feel on the inside. It is my goal for women to fully accept and embrace who they are, while also knowing how to use their wardrobe to reflect their authentic self. Read more>>

I hope my legacy will be encouraging and helping other artists to show (and sell) their work. For the past few years I was involved in a sort of co-op art gallery in Tucson. The owner was always looking for new artists, and I referred several to her. Some were successful, some not, but at least they had an opportunity. This co-op ceased to exist when its lease was not renewed this spring, because the owner had other plans for the space. Read more>>

I hope that my legacy will help inspire not only my kids but upcoming creators to take a leap of faith in filmmaking. I would love to see more people like myself behind and in front of the lens making a whole new world. If we take this seriously we can take the film industry to another level of filmmaking that people never experience before. We just have to believe in ourselves when no one else does. Read more>>

When thinking of a legacy I would hope to leave my children my artistic creation, love and respect. I hope that my children will continue to live a life full of love and respect. That they also see the beauty behind the art and truly value it’s worth. That art no matter the form that it comes in has its own beauty and tells a story. Read more>>

The idea of taking pictures with a professional photographer can be daunting formality to some people. My goal has always been to create a positive, engaging and memorable experience. The objective, of course, is to get a great photo but in my experience, when the person in front of the camera feels relaxed and empowered and I’m not quietly hiding behind the camera—that guarantees a great photo.
