Hi Lynda , thanks for joining us today. It’s easy to look at a business or industry as an outsider and assume it’s super profitable – but we’ve seen over and over again in our conversation with folks that most industries have factors that make profitability a challenge. What’s biggest challenge to profitability in your industry?

The biggest challenge to profitability in the Hair Industry is the cost of raw materials and production. This includes the expense of sourcing quality hair (whether it’s human or synthetic), chemicals and other components needed for hair care and styling products. Additionally other significant challenges include:

1.Rent and Utilities: Salons and barbershops usually require prime location to attract customers, leading to high rental expenses.

2. Labor Costs: Skilled hairstylists are essential for providing quality service, but they can be expensive to hire and retain.

3. Product Cost The expense of souring quality hair (whether human hair or synthetic), chemicals and other components needed for hair care and styling.

Balancing these cost while maintaining competitive pricing and high service quality is a significant challenge for profitability in the hair industry.

Lynda , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Life is fragile. That’s why Euphoria Reign (ER) focuses on clients in need of a safe environment that meets their beauty requirements with a higher level of Tender Loving Care (TLC).

As the proprietor of ER, I’ve been around cancer for longer than I’d like to admit. Most of our families have been touched by the devastating effects of cancer. My mother and grandmother are breast cancer survivors. My grandmother lived until she was 96 and my mother is currently 90. My father, grandfather, and other relatives all passed away from the dreaded disease long before their time.

In my deeply personal connection to cancer, I have learned to relate. After a long and courageous fight, my father passed away from liver cancer. I suspended my life for nearly two years to be his caretaker. From attending countless chemotherapy treatments to just comforting a loved one, the goal remained constant. I had to give my family members the extra TLC they needed. I believe it is my mission to share this love with the world.

And ER will do that in a competent and caring way. I’ve been in the industry for over 30 years and licensed in four states. As a cosmetologist, instructor, and state examiner, I’m a Colorologist, I also specialize in Hair Restoration of all types for women and men along with other specialties.

In this industry, experience allows me to be creative. This know-how coupled with some of the best natural and organic products the industry has to offer, sets ER apart from the rest. We will enhance your unique beauty.

At our salon, community connection and support are at the heart of everything we do. We believe in empowering vulnerable individuals by providing access to vocational training opportunities, which in turn boost their self-esteem and confidence. Through our programs, we create a supportive environment where individuals from all walks of life can learn a skill and become self-sufficient.

The Euphoria Reign team and I value being an important contributor to the community. We give back by providing a higher level of TLC. And, that little bit of extra love allows people to feel good about themselves, which makes their lives BETTER!

The thing that makes me the proudest about Euphoria Reign is that we have the ability to make a chance in a person’s life and restore hope to someone. I believe that our biggest accomplishment both in the salon, along with our education department allows a person to feel whole and become self-sufficient after completing our wig restoration program amongst the other program’s we offer.

Euphoria Reign is now about to open our men’s only section which will have the top barbers in our state rendering all types of services from basic cuts to hair replacement and restoration, we look forward to our opening this section as of September 15, 2024.

Can you talk to us about manufacturing? How’d you figure it all out? We’d love to hear the story.

Euphoria Reign Wigs and Hair is our own product, my passion for hair has allowed me to be creative and the ability to help others look and feel their very best. I started the wigs and hair company because I was motivated by a combination of my personal passion, a desire to make a difference in people’s lives, and a keen understanding of the market’s needs. For me the decision to venture into this industry stems from a personal connection to hair care and a deep appreciation for the transformative power of the wig and hair extensions. There is nothing better than being a part of a person’s transition back to becoming and feeling whole again.

One of my primary reasons for starting Euphoria Reign Wigs and Hair Company was the fact that I had worked with many other top wig companies and the consumer was only able to pick from the already to wear selections that the company offered. However, I realized that sometimes it wasn’t exactly what the customer desirers or needs. Euphoria Reign allows the customer the ability to build their own wig. My primary desire to help others regain their confidence is very important to me. Hair plays a significant role in how we perceive ourselves and how we are perceived by others. What I’ve learned along the way about manufacturing your own line of products, is that research is the key, knowing your audiences needs and wants is most important. And that it is ongoing process you will always be improving your product to fit you customer’s requirements.

We start off by personally reaching out to our client base with a follow-up call after each and every visit. The client is asked serval questions in reference to their visit and if there was anything Euphoria Reign could have done better to make their experience excellent. The new is that we send out SMS text to our client base for all related offers and sales. We also have a loyalty program.
