We recently connected with Simeon Etoria and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Simeon, thanks for joining us today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
To be truly successful in a world where so many people constantly compete, I believe it takes collaboration. When we talk about success, it’s important to recognize that it’s not just about money or material possessions; true success is about feeling genuinely happy and fulfilled.
It seems that we’ve been conditioned to believe that success is something external—something outside of ourselves that we must chase or achieve. However, to discover true success, we must first stop fighting against the current and competing with each other. Instead, we must let go of this adversarial mindset and reconnect with one another.
Through collaboration, we can create a greater experience for ourselves and those around us. True success, then, is not about individual gain but about working together to build something meaningful and lasting for everyone.

Simeon, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I am a first-generation American, born to two supportive Jamaican parents, and one of six siblings, all connected by faith and a deep sense of purpose. The person I am today is far removed from the man I used to be. Not too long ago, I was immersed in the real estate industry, making significant strides, particularly with investors. To those around me—family, friends, colleagues—I appeared to be thriving, always smiling and laughing. But beneath that exterior was a different story, one filled with stress, depression, anger, and an internal battle with addiction.
In 2019, I hit rock bottom, so much so that I started contemplating suicide. But God had a different plan for me. In 2020, I enrolled in a 100-day Real Estate challenge, aiming to deepen my knowledge and expertise in the field. While the challenge was insightful, it was two particular days within that 100-day journey that truly transformed my life. These days focused on healing, and it was during this time that I finally saw myself for who I truly was—and more importantly, who I could become.
I decided to leave the real estate industry behind and dedicate myself fully to my own continuous healing and educating myself to serve others better. I discovered my true passion: helping others.
Over the past few years, I’ve been quietly but diligently working on creating various products, programs, challenges, and wellness events designed to support others on their healing and wellness journeys. Whether someone is seeking relief from stress, aiming to lose weight or get fit, striving to improve time management, seeking mental clarity, increasing productivity, breaking bad habits, or simply getting closer to God—I have something to offer, or I’m holding space for them.
Tony Robbins once said that it’s not what we achieve that makes us truly happy, but who we become in the process. Reflecting on that wisdom, I can honestly say that I am most proud of the man I have become today—the man I see every time I look in the mirror. This journey has taught me the value of growth, humility, and the power of transformation. I want others to understand that it’s perfectly okay not to have all the answers and, even more importantly, that it’s okay to ask for help. We are all on this journey together, and I am here to offer my support and guidance whenever it’s needed.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
When I made the decision to leave real estate and embark on a new journey in an entirely different industry, I was met with a barrage of voices from loved ones attempting to hold me back. Fear, doubt, and negativity were constantly being thrown my way, and those voices were often the loudest. Despite the challenges and the overwhelming urge to give in, I knew deep down that I had to find the courage to press on. It wasn’t easy, but I pushed forward, determined to prove that I could succeed in this new path. As I began to gain traction, those discouraging voices gradually started to fade away, leaving me with a sense of accomplishment and a renewed belief in myself.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
Rushing was a habit I had to unlearn. The majority of the challenges I’ve faced in life stemmed from my tendency to rush through things, trying to get to the finish line as quickly as possible. But when I started to slow down and take a more deliberate approach, everything began to shift. I found that by being more present and patient, I not only made better decisions in my business, but I also experienced greater fulfillment in my personal life. Slowing down allowed me to truly appreciate the journey, leading to more meaningful and successful outcomes.
