We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Aaron Pomrenke. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Aaron below.
Aaron, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
We started Vacay Cowboys Clothing company as an everyday affordable option for Motorcycle community. There is options out there but not many that give you the ability to have options of a high end product at the affordable rate we do. Working with big names & many local small businesses as well. We give the ability for everyone to come in and feel our products and compare but know that we give an experience as well for the New Riders as well Advanced.
We drive to keep the motorcycle community close and engage with all aspects of whats coming….cause its not just riding anymore its so much more.
Aaron, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I cam in to this industry on tail end of others that have advanced far above. Yet, noticed there was a grab for trend. We stand behind our brand cause we were it everyday and have battle tested others. I started early on as a Screen printer myself as a job to be career – Then left to work HVAC. In that time i worked on cars and motorcycles and grey up in the Motorcycle community. Everyday riders – Clubs – Neighbors and even Family. Everyone was versatile in their attire as well their own unique way of Dress and gear to reasons “why”. So we took it all and what everyone was doing in the trends growing and hopped in and now take it to the level that isn’t seen. Mixing it all together and being involved with what “You” as the customer need and want to see more of – and have access to quality locally – Working with other small business to expand each other as well and network together as one.
Can you open up about how you funded your business?
It started with a 4 color silk screen press and a idea from another that was in a bad mood and decided to call myself and a brother of mine “VacayCowboys” as we were on our way back from Sturgis 2021.
Started making some joke shirts and a design – then became a game and next thing we know we were screen printing for a whole community of people in Phoenix – As well selling our Shirts we made as a joke. It was all self funded business and to this day its been self funded by just a driven mind and hustle – Customer relationships have been key and being involved.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
Staying in tune and contact with customers – Being involved in local events as well traveling with them – Now the Stunt scene has been popular. So we are involved with many of the guys up and coming and being out at their lot days – Pushing products to promote – Engaging but not be annoying – As well as learn the craft of throwing a Harley up 12 o’Clock as well.
Stying humble and personal with our customers is our method they want a good price and quality and we back that just we want the same. We stay 100% and True.
