We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Mikayla Rose a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Mikayla, appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.

My spiritual business Gift From Neptune was born from a deep desire to connect with others on their healing journey, sharing the wisdom I’ve gathered to contribute to the greater good of the collective.

My relationship with spirituality began in a rather unconventional way. Growing up, religion was more about culture and community than doctrine in my household. My mom took me to church, but she always encouraged me to explore and form my own unique relationship with what most of us call God. This freedom led me on a path of exploring various spiritual systems, searching for what resonated most deeply with me.

On my quest, I began to see a common thread running through all religions—a universal truth that transcended the differences in practice and belief. I found myself questioning how these different paths could all make sense, yet all seem to speak the same underlying truth.

When I discovered Astrology, that’s what made everything click! I realized that all these spiritual teachings were correct because none of them were wrong; they were simply different perspectives on the same fundamental concepts. I realized that spirituality, at its core, is about reconnecting with nature. The layers of culture, geography, and history shape how we personify these forces of nature, but the essence remains the same.

This revelation deepened my sense of purpose. I realized that truth is a collaborative effort, and as an expression of nature myself, I, too, embody a divine archetype.

I established Gift From Neptune in 2020 to assist others in stepping into their own divinity through readings, ritual, and resources.

The name itself is a tribute to my mother, who used to tell me, “Take what you learned on Neptune and apply it to reality.” This phrase in itself represents the foundation of my spiritual practice: using our connection to nature to elevate our earthly experience. Neptune, in Astrology, represents the essence of divine truth—truth that is not swayed by perception or culture, but one that remains timeless and consistent.

In creating Gift From Neptune, I saw an opportunity to offer something unique—an approach to spirituality that honors both the light and shadow aspects of our existence, helping others to uncover and embrace their own truth in a world that often encourages conformity.

I’m Mikayla Rose, Astrologer, Ordained Minister, Priestess, and somewhat of a Philosopher.

I am the founder of Gift From Neptune, a spiritual lifestyle brand that offers a range of products and services designed to help individuals connect with their inner divinity and navigate their spiritual journey. My path to this industry was shaped by a lifelong curiosity about spirituality and a deep desire to understand the universal truths that bind us all.

My offerings, including ritual oils, herbs, and spiritual readings, are designed to assist clients in stepping into their own power, whether through protection work, self-care rituals, or deeper spiritual healing. What sets my brand apart is its dual approach to spirituality—honoring both the light and shadow aspects of our existence, and helping others to embrace their full, authentic selves.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

I built my reputation by staying true to my values and focusing on what I could uniquely offer. One of my core beliefs is that tools for life elevation should be accessible to everyone, which is why I’ve always made a point to share a lot of information for free. At one point, I was hosting free workshops almost weekly, fostering community interaction and establishing myself as a knowledgeable figure in the industry.

I’ve never tried to replicate what others are doing; instead, I’ve been intentional about carving out my own path and being selective about who I collaborate with.

I’m not perfect by any means, and this journey has certainly come with its share of mistakes. However, I’ve always been committed to honesty, over-communication, and making things right when they go awry. Because of this, people trust me.

I’m known for being honest, kind, dependable, and full of integrity—qualities I hold dear and pride myself on. These are the foundations upon which I’ve built my reputation, and they continue to guide me as I grow in this industry.

How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?

I maintain a strong connection with my clients and customers through a very engaged presence on social media. I manage several Facebook groups that align with my brand value of community and resource exchange. These groups provide a space where we can dive deeper into spiritual concepts, explore how to use my products effectively, and share exclusive sales and upcoming offers.

I believe my community appreciates these spaces because they offer more than just a connection with me—they foster connections among members who share similar ideologies. In this industry, community is vital, and I’m proud to offer a safe space that not only supports my brand’s offerings but also helps to build meaningful relationships. This approach not only keeps my audience engaged but also nurtures brand loyalty by creating a sense of belonging and shared purpose.
