Adriana, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s start with a fun one – what’s something you believe that most people in your industry (or in general) disagree with?

That beauty maintenance is not a luxury but a necessity. We have to create a budget just for beauty services from cosmetics to cosmetic surgery.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

My name is Audrey Ortega born and raised in Los Angeles. Growing up I was obsessed with beauty and music videos. It was impressive to me all the magic that happened behind the scenes with makeup, hat and fashion. I always wanted to be a makeup artist as far as I can remember. In my early 20’s I decided to go to one of the best makeup schools in California. Mud Makeup Artistry. There I learned everything from beauty makeup, camera makeup and special effects. All that knowledge has lead me to build my business as a surgical consultant and beauty blogger. It is my ultimate goal to help clients reach their ultimate aesthetic goals.

How’d you meet your business partner?

I met my amazing co-founder working for a top Beverly Hills plastic surgeon. She was the office manager and we got along from day one and both were passionate about all aspects of the beauty industry including plastic surgery.

How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?

Building my business from scratch has been challenging especially financially. It can cost so much money to get all your licensing and websites together. One way or another I always come through and manage to attract more clients and help my existing clients with all their beauty needs.
