Hi Estee, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?

My journey began with a deep-rooted passion for understanding the world and fostering personal growth. After earning my master’s degree in International Relations, I felt a strong calling toward a path of personal development and spiritual exploration.

I started my professional career as an Customer Service Assistant at Alo Yoga, working remotely, learning how to speak to customers, problem solving and, effectively, learning what people need. This was the start of my time working on and with teams, learning how to be an active leader. I then transitioned to a Manager role at my favorite coffee spot, Waffleshot in Los Angeles, CA. In this role, I honed my skills in office administration, team management, and project efficiency. I promoted team productivity, managed office systems, and ensured smooth operations and timely employee payments.

My journey then took me to Palm City, FL, where I served as an Operations Manager at The Holistic Project. I oversaw organizational tasks and maintained positive customer relations, adapting to evolving program requirements and continuously seeking personal and professional growth.

Driven by a desire to help others achieve their potential, I transitioned into life and leadership coaching with EsteeK in Cambridge, MA. Here, I spearheaded leadership development programs, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and leveraging my strong organizational skills. I designed goal-setting frameworks and conducted one-on-one coaching sessions, connecting with a diverse range of clients through intercultural communication proficiency.

Later in my career, I joined the Preschool of the Arts in Cambridge, MA, as an Educator. This role ignited my passion for creating safe and inclusive learning environments. I implemented effective classroom management and collaborated on age-appropriate activities, fostering curiosity and inclusivity among young learners.

Throughout my career, I’ve maintained a spiritual approach, seeking deeper connections and meaning in all aspects of my work. This spirituality, combined with my academic background and dedication to personal development, has guided me to empower others through mindset coaching. Today, as a mindset coach, I am passionate about helping individuals unlock their potential, improve relationship dynamics, and communicate effectively in both personal and professional contexts.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?

My journey hasn’t always been smooth, and I’ve faced several challenges along the way that have shaped who I am today.

One of the earliest struggles was transitioning from my academic background in International Relations to a career in personal development and coaching. Despite my passion for helping others grow, it was challenging to establish myself in a new field. I had to invest a lot of time and energy into building my skills, networking, and gaining credibility as a coach.

At Waffleshot, managing a team and handling office administration presented its own set of challenges. Ensuring smooth operations and timely payroll required meticulous attention to detail and efficient time management. There were moments when balancing multiple responsibilities felt overwhelming, but these experiences taught me the importance of organization and effective communication.

As an Operations Manager at The Holistic Project, adapting to evolving program requirements and maintaining positive customer relations was demanding. Each day brought new challenges, whether it was handling customer inquiries or managing inventory. This role pushed me to develop greater flexibility and problem-solving skills.

In my role as a life and leadership coach with EsteeK, I encountered the challenge of connecting with a diverse range of clients. Each client had unique needs and communication styles, and it took time to build rapport and trust. However, this experience enhanced my intercultural communication proficiency and deepened my empathy and understanding.

When I joined the Preschool of the Arts, implementing effective classroom management and creating inclusive learning environments required continuous effort and creativity. Ensuring each child felt safe and engaged in their learning was both rewarding and challenging. It reinforced my commitment to fostering curiosity and inclusivity.

Beyond professional challenges, navigating personal tribulations has also been a significant part of my journey. Balancing career aspirations with family responsibilities and relationships has often been tough. There have been times when personal and professional stressors have taken a toll on my emotional and mental well-being. Maintaining healthy friendships, managing personal relationships, and taking care of my physical health required constant attention and effort.

Through periods of self-doubt and emotional struggles, my spirituality has been a guiding force, helping me stay grounded and resilient. Embracing a spiritual approach allowed me to find deeper meaning in my work and maintain a positive outlook, even during tough times.

These struggles have been invaluable in shaping my career and personal growth. They’ve taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of continuous learning. Today, as an empowerment & manifestation coach, I draw on these experiences to empower others, helping them navigate their own challenges and unlock their potential.
