Today we’d like to introduce you to Cordarious And John Dorsey And Medcalf

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?

Covid had just came around and I(John)was out of money, job, and school was online so I had plenty of time on my hand. So one day me and my homeboys was going to one of his studio sessions and I told them “i’m about to start a clothing line, I already got the swag and i know what people like to wear so why not?”. So I came up with the name Hoodshark from the help of my other homeboy. So I took the idea to Dorsey because we already had a great business relationship and friendship. We took the idea and ran with it and started building with each other. It wasn’t forced at all just because we had so much in common and that is, we both have a drive and hustle in us that nobody will stop us. There were challenges along the way, of course. Doubt whispered in our ear, and setbacks threatened to stop our progress. But with each obstacle, we found a way to push forward, fueled by our vision and the support of those who believed in us. As time went on, our business began to thrive. Word spread, customers flocked to our door, and our dream started to become a reality. But even as success found us, we never forgot the journey that brought you here. Every challenge, every setback, and every triumph shaped us into the entrepreneurs we are today

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?

It has not been a smooth road but it has been a rewarding one. When you start a business you’re trying to find your audience and identity. I feel like that takes a couple years to figure out. Plus finding the right manufacturers, people you want to model the brand, and pieces to put out but after you figure that out it’s smooth sailing. Just have to be consistent from there.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Hoodshark?

We are Hoodshark Clothing, currently one of the hottest Clothing Brands out of Mississippi. We pride ourselves on quality and customer care. When buying from us not one piece of disappointment will be in your body. Everyone has a drive and everyone is self motivated but what happens when adversity hit? You run from or take it head on and we are the type to take adversity head on because we will be on top at the end. Being able to have some of the biggest names in the Rap industry and professional ball players is such a blessing for us and our brand, as it helps us gain more exposure. For in the end, it wasn’t just about building a business – it was about pursuing our passion, following our dreams, and proving to ourself that anything is possible with hard work and determination. And as our business continues to thrive, our story serves as a reminder to never stop chasing what’s yours.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?

I feel like what really got us out there is being able to connect with bigger names. We are well connected but it’s some famous people we send our pieces to and never know if they will rock it but most times they do and we usually build a relationship with them. I don’t know if i’d call that luck, it feels more like a blessing.

Bad luck comes in if anything gets delayed shipping wise. That’s something you can’t control but want to do bad!
