Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrienne Perkins

Hi Adrienne, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.

I have been working in the industry since 2002. I fell in love with design, working with clients and the business almost immediately. I worked with and learned from two residential designers in San Diego, while attending school at San Diego State University. In 2008 I obtained my degree in design and was ready to dive into business. Over the years, I worked with some amazing clients in San Diego. In 2019 I moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, with my husband and our three boys and started a new adventure and business. The town was booming with construction and I opened a studio in 2021. Now, I have a team of great ladies that each provide amazing support for all of our projects.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?

Running a business is never easy. The biggest struggle is wanting to make clients happy to the detriment of yourself or family. I have learned to be honest with myself, my clients and family when it comes to what I am willing to commit to. I have learned to manage my schedule and be realistic with my available resources and time.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?

One of our service offerings that has become very popular lately is our remodel design package. Our unique remodel planning, provides clients with an efficient and comprehensive roadmap to their home renovation. We connect the wish list of our clients to their finished design in a process that we have perfected that works hand in hand with most general contractors.

We provide an initial, budget friendly, design package that establishes the scope of work, structural changes, and then an overall budget for materials. Using this package, our clients can price out their entire renovation with their contractor, or with multiple contractors.

If our clients elect to proceed with our optional full service package, that is available to handle the design of every small detail of their project.

Lastly, we can also provide project coordination services, to ensure that every detail is executed properly, by the contractor.

This 3 step process, provides, efficiency and clarity during the planning process!

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?

My husband and kids are so supportive of my business. Without a family that values your work, running a small business can be a horrendous drain.
They support the time I put into it, they value the work my company produces, and they are ready and willing to help, at the drop of a hat. My husband supported us, while I was building the business, and was an integral part of its success.
