We were lucky to catch up with Jena Fisher recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Jena, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about when you first realized that you wanted to pursue a creative path professionally.
Everyone has a certain talent or reason to live on this earth. When I discovered mines, I was both young and heading into high school. As a young kid , I grew up watching kid like shows and cartoons. Watching shows with my mom was childlike memories for me as well. I started to watch Americans Next Top Model and that really got me motivated to be a model. Growing older , I’ve took interest in love doing makeup and hair. In school , I came across Accouting skills.

Jena, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
We all can agree that life isn’t easy. There could be some times where times are really hard and can really get tough. Ever since I was a kid, I tied my life into being the best me I can be. I chose to focus my life on doing what’s best for me and my future. I am a hustler who wants to do as much as she can. Where I am today took a lot of hard work and dedication and I really appreciate how far I came.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I get asked so many questions about my social media platforms. Trust me it isn’t easy from the start. You have to build up a family or a relationship with people and/ or friends as a whole. The posts that you may reveal to the audience can be either personal or professional. You have to let the audience know the real you so they can trust the person that they are watching. My best advice to anyone who wants to build their social media presence is having consistency, knowing your niche and being aware of what you post even it is positive.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
A lesson I had to unlearn was that life is easy. Throughout life I’ve hustled a lot and I felt like I deserved a reward for it. I’ve realized that you can’t always want something even if you felt like you deserve it. Your matter of time will come and it will come unexpectedly. Don’t try to rush those blessings because they will come in your path when it’s time.
