Khia, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. How do you think about vacations as a business owner? Do you take them and if so, how? If you don’t, why not?
The bible says, and He rested on the seventh day…If God can rest, so can I and so can you. Rest allows us the opportunity to relax and recuperate. It gives us a fresh set of eyes with the energy and mental fortitude to take on life’s challenges.
I believe in travel. I encourage travel. Travel is just as necessary as food for me. If I can menu plan, I can plan my next vacation- and you should too!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I have always been the planner in my friend group. I plan and host the parties. I plan and host the group trips. It was a natural progression to start my travel business and bring my expertise to the marketplace.
I have handled logistics for musical artists when I worked in the industry. I managed the logistics for Afropunk 2023 Festival Team.
I want people to know that travel is affordable. You just have to plan.
Everyone can make it out of the group chat. It just requires a plan….and maybe a payment plan.
I’ve traveled with a newborn, and internationally with a two year old. There is no excuse.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
I was my mother’s caregiver for 4 years until she transitioned in November 2021. I started my business in February of 2022. I felt like great loss motivated me beyond my excuses, fears and doubts. I saw my life and ambitions through a different set of eyes. I viewed the risk of starting my business as necessary to my personal and professional development. I wanted to live a life with no regrets…personally, professionally or relationally.

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
Every one of my clients have been a referral. My business reputation is my personal reputation. So, I make sure that I am responsive because that is an expectation I have of myself and others. I am thorough because I ask a lot of questions, so I want to inform my clients about things they might not have thought of when they decided a particular location. I am meticulous because I want to always operate in the spirit of excellence.
