Alright, Brittany thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Can you talk to us about how you learned to do what you do?
I learned how to mix and create from YouTube university, and lots of research. though I was already some what knowledgeable in herbs and essential oils. I Learned more about the legal side just by following more inspirational and other business or wealthy people on social media, getting information from friends and family, and also once again by doing my own research. Knowing what I know now, I could have saved money and cut down on some of my mistakes. Even down to the legal portion. The skill that is most essential is the skill of trusting my knowledge/talent and being able to really enjoy and transfer my love and energy to my products, that’s the most important part, everything else came along the way, talking to people, finances, etc. even though I still have a lot of work to do, I have definitely have seen lots of progress. I was my own obstacle, by not staying as consistent, making excuses to why I cant do something or why I don’t want to, not realizing I’m the only reason why I haven’t progressed a lot more by now. I was determined but I had my mind set on other things at the moment. School was a obstacle also but not an excuse, because I still could have put in more effort.

Hey Yall! My name is Brittany, I am the CEO and Owner of Bodacious Krafts. I graduated from GSU in 2018 with my degree in Science, after that went on to Purse a Career in the health field along with enjoying my hobby which turned into my business. When I was younger, my mom always had me and my older brother doing all types of fun craft activities. But it all really started when one day we were making bath bombs with my little cousin, I really enjoyed it and my mind and curiosity just flourished from there, saying “I wonder what else I can make”. I create and mix natural body care products, 100% handmade for your pleasure and health. Some of our most popular products are our Raw Shea Butter, made with only 3 ingredients. We also have our Crackling Softwood Candles that are made with Soy wax which means that you can use it on your skin.. if you get my drift. (wink wink). Our Candles are topped with love and light and sometimes a few flowers that are all skin safe. And we also have our infused body oil that is infused with Lavender Buds, Chamomile flowers, Rose petals, and more skin healing and loving oils. My favorite way to use this oil is to pour it in my bath and just soak, it leaves my skin moisturized and because its a very light oil, it doesn’t leave a ring around the tub, which for me is probably one of the best things about it, because who really likes to scrub a tub after a relaxing bath?! Not me!! Bodacious Krafts is one of a kind because what we do is what we love and our intentions are to spread it. Our Products are natural with no extra additives, chemicals, preservatives etc. directed to healing and beautifying the body through natural herbs, oils and more. Bodacious Krafts Creates products specifically for the health of the skin, our products treat many different skin conditions such as eczema, and psoriasis, we also cater to the ones who just want to look, feel and SMELL beautiful/handsome… yes we have some things for the men as well and still working on more options for them. Almost every product I create, you have the option to throw a little razzle dazzle in the mix, to boost that glow and sparkle of your skin. We offer many different fragrant and essential oil choices for you to customize your products. We also offer special request products such as stress relief and aphrodisiac, some things you may not see on our website, but if you can tell us what you want, we can make it just for you. I still have a lot of work to do but I’m most proud of how far Ive come, sticking with it and not giving up, because there has been many times where I was just ready to be done. I’m proud of everything Ive learned and everything I plan to learn along the way. I have learned how to be patient and realize that things take time and wont change overnight, with both making product and growing my business. When I think about giving up, I think about how its my baby and I just cant give up on my baby.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My goal is to have financial freedom, to be able to do my own thing when and how I want to do it. I want to be able to provide for my family and kids, what they need as well as what they want. I don’t want to have to worry about not having enough money to get something expensive but worth it, because I deserve it. I want to continue to grow as a person, and learn more about me. So with that being said, I have many goals and I don’t know exactly what they look like right now but I want Peace and Freedom from society and the expectations/pressures that people and the world puts on you.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
One of the most rewarding aspects of being a creative is seeing everyone’s reaction to my products, hearing reviews and details of different things that sometimes I didn’t even notice. Like wow I really created something that people really do love and actually works.
