DeAndre , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
I came up with the idea of my production company DJL Concept Creations LLC by learning the format of how to be a screenwriter and producer.
I learned of my talent at five years of age and started writing professionally at 19 years old.
I have always had a love for films since I can remember.
I knew my career would work because god gave me the talent and with all things God is involved in you will always succeed in.
I wasn’t sloving any problems because I just do what’s best for me.
My uniqueness is I am just myself.

I am a Winston-Salem Nc native and just a laid back individual & humble person who owes all my talent & glory to god.
I got into the film industry by just trial and error of learning the format & methods.
The services that DJL Concept Creations LLC provides is just a production company that create original and unique series and films.
What sets me apart from any other company is I am just in a lane of my owns and don’t try to duplicate or copy others.
I am mainly proud of seeing other people achieve their goals and win and I love helping others it’s not about me, but what I can do for others, God is always blessing me.
I love to give back & pour into others.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
A story that shows my resilience, I remember back in 2021 a Talent
Mangaer & Independent Television Producer by the name of Shaun Cario said some horrible things to me because I wouldn’t conform to his way of doing things on my own project I created.
Shaun words to me were I would never make it in the film business, I work a 9-5, I live in North Carolina and will never be a Lee Daniels or Tyler Perry
That’s right I’m DeAndre Little & my own individual who doesn’t try to be like no one else but myself.
I never let his words stop me, I kept on pressing on and the very things he try to speak over my career & life backfired
I fuel it as passion and I got to where I am today.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
A lesson I have unlearned is to not be so trusting, I’m already guarded but I let it down and still trust people.
