Madam , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?

Choosing just one performance from my career is challenging because each one holds a special place in my heart, but I’d love to share the unforgettable experience of my first major geisha singing job at the “Estate of Zen” in the Hollywood Hills, presented by Star Real Estate Agents Tomer Fridman and Sally Forster Jones. I was casted by The SOCIETY Group, creators and storytellers for real estate’s high society. They envisioned a geisha performance set to the aria “Un bel dì vedremo” from Giacomo Puccini’s “Madama Butterfly,” with rose petals delicately falling around me. The ambiance of their event was further enriched with a cocktail hour, sushi dinner, tea ceremony, and mesmerizing taiko drummers. Witnessing the guests’ awe and admiration was a profound moment I’ll always cherish.This experience was pivotal in my career, assisting me in the process of establishing my business name “Geisha Opera Singer” more effectively. I’m deeply grateful to Mr. Tomer Fridman, Ms. Sally Forster Jones, and The SOCIETY Group, Mr. Alexander Ali, Ms. Alexis Lopez, and Ms. Pia K. del Puerto, for their unwavering support and inspiration. Being featured in Forbes Magazine shortly after was an exceptional experience.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I am Madam Sen, a classically-trained vocalist specializing in opera arias and original compositions. My musical journey began in the United States, where I discovered my passion for singing and commenced my vocal training in Los Angeles. Originally from Hiroshima, Japan, I draw inspiration from Western, Japanese, and Italian musical traditions, which deeply influence my artistic approach.

Let me introduce you to “Fioregeisha” (Flower Geisha), a group that offers a modern interpretation of the traditional geisha concept. Alongside dancer Yuyu and actress Yoko, our performances span multiple genres, blending vocals with traditional Japanese instruments, from Japanese ballads to modern electronic beats. We provide a unique blend of traditional and contemporary Japanese song and dance. Additionally, we offer immersive collaborative experiences that include partnerships with Western and Japanese instrumentalists, elegant Japanese tea ceremonies, private sushi chef services, and educational kimono lectures. These elements combine to create unforgettable events that celebrate Japanese culture in a fresh and innovative manner.

One of the key objectives my team and I aim to achieve for our clients is to ensure a smooth booking process and exceptional assistance throughout every stage of planning and performance. We pride ourselves on professionalism in entertainment creation and event planning, aiming to provide royal treatment and help create the magical moments our clients desire for their special events.

One of my proudest experiences is evoking emotion and storytelling through my vocal performances, whether on grand stages or intimate private events. Performing “The Star-Spangled Banner” at the LA Clippers Japanese Heritage Night game at Crypto Arena in Los Angeles was a significant achievement, underscoring my commitment to excellence and innovation in the arts.

For potential clients, followers, and fans, I want to emphasize that my work is about creating meaningful experiences that celebrate cultural diversity and artistic expression, while also bringing people together through entertainment. Whether it’s for their family, friends, coworkers, or any event, our goal is to deliver performances that leave a positive impact and help everyone appreciate the richness of Japanese music and culture.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.

Back in 2022, I underwent my first major surgery. As a cancer survivor, I faced deep despair when my life was at stake. However, through creativity and music, I discovered hope and a renewed sense of purpose. Art, to me, embodies love and serves as a powerful tool to connect with myself and others, inspiring positive change. This experience strengthened my commitment to using my abilities to make a positive impact in the world. It also taught me the value of life’s preciousness and empowered me to grow both as an artist and as a person. Today, I embrace my resilience and firmly believe in our limitless potential to achieve anything. Our lifetime is limited, but our potential is unlimited. Our darkest moments can indeed reveal priceless treasures.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

Being an artist is incredibly challenging due to its multifaceted nature. My aspiration is to achieve success as a balanced artist and entrepreneur. To accomplish this, I constantly strive to develop exceptional operations and services that people enjoy. Establishing strong connections with my team and clients is essential. I believe our mission is guided by our hearts, free from external pressures. While challenges arise, I don’t wait for opportunities—I actively pursue them and adapt my strategies as needed. Most importantly, I seek feedback and learning from others. Each of us creates our own universe and shapes our lives. I have faith in myself and others to fulfill our unique destinies. Endowed with creativity, my goal is to comfort people’s hearts and bodies. In a dynamic world, my mission is to foster love, peace, freedom, and hope. This is the purpose of my mission.
